Chapter XIV

Jungkook was shook. He didn't knew what to say or do.

"Congratulations." The doctor mouthed and left.

Jungkook went in to see Jang Mi. She was sitting on the bed with a long face.

"Did doctor tell you?" She asked.

He nodded.

"Will you call your boyfriend now?" Jungkook asked.

She smiled weakly thinking of Taehyung.

"How will he react? Will he be okay with this?!"

"I don't know....I am not going to tell him for now."

Namjoon and Miso entered.

"How are you feeling?!" Namjoon asked.

"Better."

Jang Mi didn't tell them about her pregnancy. She didn't want them to worry. Plus she had not decided if she wants to keep the baby or not. She actually wanted to keep it because she didn't want to take an innocent life.
But then she didn't knew if she should tell Taehyung about it.

Namjoon and Miso were talking to Jang Mi, when a nurse came in to ask them to sign the discharge papers.

"I will go. You both be with her." Jungkook said and left to sign the papers.

After the discharge procedure was done, they took Jang Mi to their shared apartment. Her father was better now so she decided to come back to the apartment. Jungkook drove them.
He went in with them as Namjoon insisted him to come in for a coffee as Jungkook had helped them so much.

"I will go make coffee." Namjoon said.

"Are you sure, baby?" Miso laughed.

Namjoon made a face and went to the kitchen.

Jang Mi, Miso and Jungkook were seated on the couch.

After some time, there were sounds of utensils clattering and loud thud, from the kitchen.
Of course, it was Namjoon.

"Oh god! Baby! What happened?!"  Miso shouted and ran to the kitchen.

Jang Mi wanted to get up too but Jungkook asked her to stay seated.

"All good! Don't worry! Just a little situation here." Miso yelled from the kitchen.

Jungkook and Jang Mi laughed.

"Thank you." Jang Mi said to Jungkook.

"No problem. I am glad I could help."

"I hope you keep that a secret." She said referring to the fact that she was pregnant.

Jungkook nodded, assuring her.

Meanwhile, Taehyung had rushed to the hospital after his engagement, with Anna.

"Anna! Please. Jang Mi is my friend. I need to see her. Come with me otherwise my father won't allow me to go out." He said to Anna.

Anna, even though she was a gold digger, was a good person by heart. She agreed to go with Taehyung. She kind of liked Jang Mi.

"Mr.Kim, I wanted to go out with Taehyung to spend some time together. Can we?!" Anna lied to Taehyung's father.

He happily agreed.

After that, Taehyung and Anna rushed to the hospital. Taehyung knew what hospital Jang Mi went to whenever she was ill, so he went to the same hospital, thinking she would be there.
He was right indeed.
