Chapter XIII

"I am Jungkook." He said showing his bunny smile.

"I am Jang Mi."

"I know I am being nosy but I noticed that you were crying. Actually you still are..."

"Oh it's nothing." She said smiling weakly.

He nodded. He was suddenly curious about Jang Mi for no reason.

"So, whose side are you from?" He tried to start a conversation.

What should I say, that the person I Love is getting engaged and I am here to see that?
Jang Mi sighed.

"Uh? What happened?" He asked.

She shook her head.

"Tae... he is my friend." She said.

"Tae? Oh ok. The guy."

"And you?" Jang Mi had stopped crying now. Sometimes talking to a stranger probably makes you feel good, if not better.

Jungkook went in to a deep thought.

What should I say, that the person I Love is getting engaged and I am here to see that?

Jungkook thought.

He loved Anna. They were in a relationship before she told him that her parents had fixed her engagement with Taehyung. He was heartbroken to see the love of his life going away from him.

Honestly Anna didn't care, she was with Jungkook only for his money. Jungkook was rich and she cared only about the money. That's why when her parents fixed the engagement with Taehyung, she immediately agreed because she knew Taehyung was richer than Jungkook.

"Anna..." his voice cracked.

Jang Mi looked at him.

"Are you okay?" She asked.

He nodded.
"Anna is my friend...."

They sat their in silence for a few more minutes and went towards the main hall since the ceremony was about to start.

While walking Anna again felt dizzy. Her legs wobbled.

"Are you fine?" Jungkook held her hand.

"Yes."

"You don't look like. Let me help you." He held her hand till they reached the main hall.

Taehyung saw Jungkook holding Jang Mi's hand and he felt a little jealous. He wondered who the guy was. He kept staring at the guy and Jang Mi until his father asked him to exchange rings with Anna.

Jang Mi and Jungkook's heart ached to see them together.

Anna was about to put a ring on Taehyung when Jang Mi fainted and everybody's attention turned towards her. Jungkook caught her on time.

"Oh my god! Jang Mi!" Miso shouted.

"What happened!!"

Taehyung was shocked. He tried to go to Jang Mi but his father stopped him.

"If you go to her right now, you will see my dead face." His father stated.

"What the hell!" Taehyung groaned in frustration. He was helpless. He would have gone to Jang Mi if he didn't think of his dead mother.

Jungkook quickly lifted Jang Mi, bridal style and took her to his car. Namjoon and Miso followed. He drove to the hospital.

Miso sat behind with Jang Mi.

"Jang Mi! Jang Mi!" Miso sprinkled some water on her face. She didn't respond.

They rushed to the hospital. The doctor,  Jung Hoseok, asked the nurses to take Jang Mi inside, they did as they were told.

Jungkook, Namjoon and Miso were asked to wait outside.

"She will be fine, babe." Namjoon hugged Miso.

She nodded.

"Jungkook.., thank you for the help." Namjoon thanked Jungkook.

"No problem. I hope she will be fine."

He nodded.

"You can go back man. We will wait here." Namjoon said to Jungkook.

He refused to leave and insisted that he will be here until Jang Mi wakes up.

Namjoon agreed.

After a few minutes, the doctor came out hurriedly, wanting to go somewhere.

"Oh doctor! How is she?!" Jungkook asked him.

"Please wait. We need to run a few tests." He said and left the three of them who had a questioning look on their faces.

The doctor then again went back to the room Jang Mi was in.

It had been two hours now. The three of them were still waiting.

"My head hurts." Miso said.

"Let's get you some coffee." Namjoon said and left for the cafeteria asking Jungkook if he could stay there alone, to which he nodded and gave a thumbs up.

It was after a few minutes Namjoon and Miso left that the doctor came out.

"Are you her husband?!" He asked Jungkook.

Jungkook was surprised.

"Oh no we are not..." before he could complete his sentence, the doctor spoke again.

"Then you must be her boyfriend."

Jungkook tried to say something this time too but then was cut off by the doctor again. And what doctor told him, shocked him.

"She is Pregnant."
