Chapter XV

Taehyung sat down on the couch.

"Are you fine?!" Namjoon asked.

Taehyung sighed.

"By the way. Why did she faint?" Taehyung asked.

"Jang Mi told us that she fainted due to weakness as doctor told her the same."

Taehyung sighed.

He stood in front of Jang Mi's room and knocked.

"Baby! Open the door. Talk to me!" He kept calling her but she didn't respond. Feeling defeated, Taehyung went back home.

Next day, Jang Mi called Jungkook and told him that she would treat him for helping out yesterday. So, they met at Bangtan restaurant, for lunch.

"Thank you so much Jungkook. Even though you didn't know me, you helped me. Also thank you for keeping that a secret. " Jang Mi smiled.

"Don't thank me, please. But aren't you going to tell Taehyung about it?"

"I don't know." Jang Mi sighed.

They were speaking to each other when a voice approached Jungkook.

"Jungkook ?"

Jungkook looked at the person who called him.

"Oh Mr.Lee. hello."

It was Anna's father. Jungkook knew him as his father and Anna's father were business partners. The restaurant they were at now was owned by Anna's father.

He wasn't alone. Taehyung and Anna were standing behind him.

"Good to see you. Is she your girlfriend?" Anna's father asked smiling at Jang Mi. "Oh. You are the one who fainted yesterday right? Are you fine?"

Anna nodded.

"Good. Anna and Taehyung are here too. You both can have a double date I guess, if that's not a problem to you both." He said.

Jungkook and Jang Mi couldn't refuse him directly, so they just nodded. They forgot to correct him that Jang Mi wasn't Jungkook's girlfriend.

Taehyung and Anna sat down as Anna's father left.

Anna and Taehyung ordered for themselves. There was an awkward silence afterwards. No one spoke.
Taehyung kept glancing at Jang Mi and Jungkook at Anna.

Taehyung noticed Jang Mi wearing the ring he had given her. She caught him staring at the ring and quickly turned the ring around.

I know she still loves me.
Taehyung thought.

The food arrived after some time.

"This getting real awkward." Anna stated.

She wanted to break the ice between everyone.

"Here, Jang Mi. Have this salad. It is very delicious." Anna offered her food.

The salad looked really delicious so Jang Mi took it, smiling at Anna.

"Wait." Jungkook looked at the salad."You can't eat this." He said.

"Why?!" Jang Mi asked confused.

"You can't. It's not good for you." He said.

"What? It's just a salad. Chill." Jang Mi said.

Jungkook pushed the plate back towards Anna.

Jang Mi looked at him confusingly.

"Dude. If she wants to eat that, let her eat. Who are you to tell her what she can and can't do!!" Taehyung said madly.

"Calm down mahn!" Jungkook said glaring at him.  "Come here." He took Jang Mi's hand and walked a little away from the table.

"Whatt?!!" She asked.

"It had papaya in it and you can't eat papaya when pregnant. Didn't you knew that?!"

"Really?! Ahh!...I didn't knew. I didn't do any research." She sighed a heave of relief. "But how did you know about that?!"

"When my sister-in-law was pregnant, she used to tell me everything about it. Take care of yourself. I also think you should tell Taehyung now."

"Well...I don't know... He is getting married to Anna..." She trailed off.

Jungkook's face dropped.

"Let's get out of here. I need to tell you something." Jang Mi said.

They ate the rest of their food, paid the bill and left.

"Are you sure Jungkook doesn't like Jang Mi?!" Taehyung asked looking at the two of them walk away.

"Well... I don't know.." She sighed.

"Seriously! Why are you marrying me!!!" Taehyung groaned in frustration.

"Because my parents want me to and plus you are super rich." She said.

"So you are a gold digger huh?" Taehyung shot a glare at her.

"I.. I don't know."

Taehyung raised his eyebrows.

"I always thought I was a gold digger but then when I saw Jungkook with Jang Mi...I felt bad. I really felt the urge to go and hug him. I realized I genuinely love him..." She said staring at blank space.

"Are you kidding me?!!!" Taehyung shouted getting up from his seat.

Anna flinched at his voice.

"Then go get him. That way you will be happy with Jungkook and I can have my baby back!!!!" He was irritated by Anna.

"Can I do that?" Anna asked sadly.

"Of course. Jungkook is from good family, yours and his dads are business partners, they know each other. I am sure they will accept Jungkook as your life partner."

"You are right. But what about your family?"

"Don't worry about that. If you break this engagement then they cannot say anything." Taehyung said.

Anna nodded.
