Chapter XVIII_End

Taehyung reached Seokcheon Lake. It was a season of cherry blossom festival. It looked beautiful.

He walked in trying to find Namjoon but couldn't find him, instead he saw Jang Mi standing there, admiring the cherry blossom trees. He walked up to her and hugged her from behind.

Jang Mi flinched at the sudden touch.

"Baby..." Taehyung said.

She realized Taehyung was the one hugging her.

Miso had told Jang Mi about Taehyung's step mother being taken by the police. Jang Mi was really happy. She knew she could make things right with Taehyung but was unsure because he was nonetheless engaged to Anna according to her.

Jang Mi let him back hug her. She missed this. Taehyung made her face him. He cupped her cheeks and kissed her. At first it was a gentle kiss but soon got a little intense as Jang Mi kissed him back. They both missed each other so much. After kissing for a few more seconds, they pulled away to catch their breaths.

"I am sorry." They said at the same time.

They looked at each other until Taehyung spoke.

"I am sorry baby. I am sorry about what happened with your father. I am the one who should be blamed. I am really very sorry."

"You got to know?"

Taehyung nodded.

He told her that he left his dad's house.

"By the way, how are you here?" Taehyung asked.

"Miso asked me to come here. What about you?"

"Really? Namjoon asked me to come here too." He said.

They both realized what their best friends did and ended up laughing at it.

"Also, I am sorry Tae."

"Why?!" Taehyung asked puzzled.

"All these we have been together, I had no idea what you were going through. After I got to know also I couldn't help you. I am really sorry for not being there for you."

Taehyung was surprised.
"What are you talking about?"

Jang Mi told him that his Psychiatrist, Jimin told her about his childhood, that day in hospital.

"I am sorry." Jang Mi said again.

Taehyung hugged her. He cried a little.

"Don't be. You are all I need to recover completely from that trauma."

Jang Mi caressed his back trying to soothe him.

Taehyung also told her that Anna broke the engagement and is with Jungkook now.

"Really?!!" She asked.

"Yessss!!!" An excited voice came from somewhere.

It was Jungkook, along with Anna, Miso and Namjoon. They were hiding there.

"You guys are here? Wow."

"I am so happy for you both!" Anna said.

Taehyung kissed Jang Mi's cheeks pulling her closer.

"Thank you Namjoon and Jungkook."
Taehyung said.

"No problem!" They said in unison.

"Did you tell him the important thing?!" Jungkook slid closer to Jang Mi and whispered.

"Oops. I forgot the most important thing."

Jungkook shook his head and stepped back.

"Baby. May I have that ring?" Taehyung asked Jang Mi pointing at her finger.

Jang Mi chuckled and nodded.

He took the ring from her and knelt down on his knee.

Everybody cooed.

"Baby. I missed you so much. When you parted ways with me, I was broken. I didn't knew what to do. All I wanted was you to come and hug me and tell me that everything is going to be alright. I Love you Jang Mi. You are the one who can calm down the troubled inner child in me. You are the one I will always love. So.... Miss Jang Mi. Will you marr...?"

"Yes!!" She said excitedly before Taehyung could complete his sentence.

Taehyung chuckled at her cuteness and slid the ring into her finger.

Everybody clapped, laughing.

"But if we are getting married, we need to do it this month or next month." Jang Mi said.

"Okay but why?"  Taehyung asked.

"Because I don't want to look fat in my wedding pictures."

"Huh what?"

Jang Mi raised her eyebrows in excitement.

"Afterwards, my baby bump will be visible na!!" She said, looking at Taehyung .

"Ohh.. wait what??" Taehyung was surprised.

Jang Mi nodded.

"I am pregnant."

"Really? Baby.. you are not kidding right?"

"No." Jang Mi shook her head.

"Oh my god!!!!" Taehyung screamed in joy and picked up Jang Mi.

Everybody else was surprised except for Jungkook who knew about it. They were happy for both of them.

"When did you get to know?!" Taehyung asked.

"The day I fainted. On your engagement day." She said.

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"I don't know..."

"It's okay. I am so happy!!!"

Taehyung pulled her close and kissed her wrapping his arms around her. Jang Mi's hands made their way around his neck.

Watching them, Namjoon and Miso, Anna and Jungkook kissed each other too.

Afterwards they went out to celebrate this happiness.
