十 四：Overprotective Brother Check ✅

Lu Xia's POV:

After the game, I decided I needed a drink and I brought one for Zhou Jia too. As I made my way out, I see Qiao Chen looking for someone. Whe I walked passed him, he pulled me back as I was sipping my drink. 

" There you are! What took you so long?" He asked me as he till had his arm wrapped around my shoulder.

" The paths look all the same." I simply told him as he nodded. We were about to walk until we heard some girls. I knew it wasn't Zhou Jia because she has this sweetness to her voice that I know like that.

" A familiar face!" Qi Ying exclaimed as I stopped taking a drink of my soda.

" What happened?" Qiao Chen questioned.

" That paths all look the same around here." Qi Ying responded as Peng Xiang nodded.

" Hmm interesting." Qiao Chen answered.

Seriously? I know what he's thinking, It's definitely not that. I don't know if he suspects something between Qi Ying and I and if he does, he's dead wrong. 

" Come on, let's get with he team." He instructed as I turned to him.

" I have to practice." I said.

Once he turned around because of cheers, that was my cue to leave.

Your POV:

I was sitting next to Qiao Chen while I ate some popcorn that he has in the middle. We were watching Yu Feng's match. I wonder where Lu Xia is and Zhi.

He gave some to Baiyang as well.

" It looks like Weiming had gotten faster." I commented as he just won his match.

" Yeah, he has improved a lot." Jiale agreed as he watched him also from the row in front of me.

Qi Ying's POV:

Peng Xiang and I walked over to the vending machine and we deciding to get drinks for everyone including Zhou Jia.

As Peng Xiang got most of the waters, I pointed out Lu XIa's favorite drink. I could imagine him thanking me for that drink as he smiled and took a sip of it.  I'm glad that he wore his wrist grad that I hand sewed for him. I hope her likes it.

We ran into Xu Xingzi and we said hi to her and gave her a drink. 

As we walked back to the Boys, Peng Xiang spoke up.

" So, for the sleepover tonight with Zhou Jia, are we going to find out if she likes Lu Xia?" She clarified as I nodded.

" Yes, I'm worried that Lu Xia would like her more than me. I'm mean he does hang out with her more and they talk more. Especially during games on the bench." I explained as Peng Xiang hummed in response.

" Well maybe they're just best friends, we'll find out soon too. When is she coming over?" She asked me.

" She said this to me earlier, that she has to do something before she comes over so she'll be arriving at like 6:00 pm (18:00)." I answered.

" Okay,m we have time then to get everything set up. Where are we going to sleep? IN the living room or your bedroom?" Peng Xiang asked, as she can see that court in view and the team sitting there.

" In the living room, my mom will be alight. She's working a late shift at the hospital." I explained as she nodded.

A/N: I don't know what Qi Ying's mother does, so I just made her up to be a nurse in the hospital.

Once we got to the court with he guys, I handed out drinks and we sat down as well.

" So are you ready for tonight?" I asked Zhou Jia. She turned to me and nodded.
