三三：A Rough Patch

Your POV:

After we all warmed up, we got our opponents and we went t that court. I'm playing a singles, but in after the four games for the other players had finished. I walked around to observe the games as I overheard Qiao Chen and WeiMing talk about Xu Xing Zi. I know Qiao Chen likes her, but does WeiMing too?

Hmm. I wonder if Qiao Chen gets the feeling that WeiMing might like her too. I'll have to ask him.

I watched there game a for a little while I walked over to Lu Xia's game with his old opponent. They were in a middle of a play and looks like neither of them are breaking just yet.

I walked over to my brother who's playing the captain of Yu Feng. I decided to stand behind the gate where Lu Xia is currently standing. Once I got there, I discreetly intertwined hands with each other as he squeezed mine a bit.

A Yu Feng player that Lu Xia is facing came up to us as he kept asking about his eye and if he can see. How he is and if he's still having trouble. Lu Xiangqian and I were about to walk as the guys popped up in front of us.

How did he get there?

The guys held up a vision test. We both looked at it as he just walked away with me. I let go of his hand.

When it was my turn to play, I was up against one of their main players.

We played for six sets as I got some points on him.

He was definitely trained with different techniques and moves than I was.

Unfortunately, I lost. 

Once the matches were over, we lined up facing Yu Feng while listening to who won which game.

I think WeiMing gave up, because of Lu Xia, but all the rest of us lost against our opponents.

" Yu Feng won. Now, give them your uniforms. Zhou Jia, you don't have to. Only the people in the starting lineup have to." Siyang informed me as I nodded.

Thankfully that happen because I have nothing on under this and plus, what are they going to do with a girls shirt?

" Seriously?" Xu Ziping asked Siyang. Siyang was all serious. He even took his off. Xiuwen almost took his off, but Huang Jing stopped him.

" Run 50 laps."The captain ordered as I started to run with Lu Xia. Just gonna get his over with.

After we were done running, we got a drink and then Siyang came back to speak to us. It was inspiring and somewhat uplifting as well.

I already told my parent s about the training camp as they told me to have fun, but not too much fun...if you know, you know.

They know about me dating Lu Xia and they're giving me hints that I shouldn't do it until this age. Which I was fine with that.

I arrived with my brother to the training camp. Both teams were staying in a house as we got settled and started to clean up. We made this stupid bet with Yu Feng players. Who ever cleaned up the slowest, only gets to eat rice.

Turns out, that Yu Qing lost and we had to eat only rice.

I sat next to Lu Xia and also next to Zhi as I ate the rice and a small portion of noddles that was in front of me.

I looked at Yu Feng's foos with envy.  They have rice, fried chicken, and a couple sides of roasted duck and another thing. I looked at the guy infant of me with a mall pout. 

He seemed to notice as I could tell he felt bad for me. It so happens to be the guy who I was playing against. 

" Here. I don't want to look at you puppy dog eyes anymore...there to sad for me..." He told me as she grabbed his chopsticks and put one of the fried pieces of chicken on my rice. I beamed as Lu Xia looked at my food.

" Thank you." I responded as he smiled in a charming way.

" Do you want a little?" I asked Lu Xia as he just nodded. I smiled to myself as I gave him a small piece. 

"Thanks." He replied as I nodded while gently squeeing his hand under the table. I let go of it and then continued to eat.

 Later, we all got ready for bed as I went into the girls room. We chatted and gossiped about random things.

" So... who's your new crush now that it isn't Lu Xia anymore?" Xu XingZi asked Qi Ying who smiled shyly.

" Well, no one right now. " She answered. Then Xu XingZi turned to face me and asking the same question.

" Well, Lu Xia and I confessed to each other and we're now dating... We started like a few days ago. Please don't tell the boys."I pleaded as they nodded.

" We won't. I'm so happy for thee both of you!"They both said in unison which made me smile.

" So, what about you Xu XingZi?"I smirked at her  as she blushed.

" W-Well. I like Qiao Chen...but I don't know if he likes me back..." She told his as I took the information in.

" Well, you can always confess to him. Ju st shoot you shot. Y'know."I advised her.

" Hmm yeah maybe." She replied as she though about it.

The next day, we all started training as I mainly helped out with the laundry and the cooking. I do enjoy to cook so it wasn't a chore for me. I cooked along with Qi Ying who's really good at cooking. I even got her to share some of there tips and she also gave me a recipe to try. I'm excited!

Later on, Yu Qing still had to eat only rice and nodded as I looked at them with their morale just torn into pieces. They'll get through this. Everything in life has a rough patch.
