二八：An Outsider

Your POV:

After the fall Lu Xiangqian had, he winked and got right back up...

God that wink can make any girl's heart flutter.

Lu Xia kept playing as it was now half time and Qi Ying texted me saying I'm going right now to Lu Xia. I nodded as I talked to Lu Xia and said goodbye to him while going home with my brother.

Lu Xia's POV:

I was about to invite Zhou Jia to play more tennis at my house, but it seemed like she was in a hurry for some reason. 

Hmm. I counted to pack up as I walked alone back from the changing rooms.

" Lu Xia!" I heard my name being called as I turn to the sound and it was Qi Ying. I looked down at her hands as she was carrying a grape soda.

" What's up?" I asked in a friendly way, trying not to seem tired.

" u-um, you've played well today. Congrats. Here." She siad as she handed the soda to me which I took.

" Are you just waking here fro me to say that? Why?" I questioned her with my usual facial expression.

" O-Oh okay. U-um because I-I like y-you..." I heard her quietly as I stopped.

" Really?" I asked her. I'm not surprised because I had a feeling.

" Y-Yeah.." She stuttered as she avoided my eyes.

" Thanks..I don't know how to say this...but I like someone else..." I told her while looking at the ground.

" O-Oh okay...well thank you for letting me down gently." Qi Ying spoke up as I looked up at her.

" We can still be friends if we want. I'm sorry if you feel awkward." it told her.

" Okay...bye Lu Xia." Qi Ying responded as I nodded and left.

I just counted on walking as I though about what Zhou Jia is doing.

Your POV:

I was walking with Zhi back home as I kind of one out a bit as he was talking about some random thing.

I really like Lu Xia...is he going to accept Qi Ying's confession? Deep down inside, I hope he doesn't...

I snowshoe's my best friend and all but still I can't control my feelings. The world would be too perfect for that.

We all agreed to the plan that we would let each other confess alone, one on one while having the other one away. We can't sabotage each other's chance as well.

" Jia? Are you listening?" I heard someone and I jumped a little as I looked at Zhi who chuckled.

" I guess you weren't." He continued.

" What were you thinking?" Zhi asked as we could see out house just a few feet away.

" It's just school." I lied as he nodded.

I laid on my bed as I sighed. 

I got a text from Qi Ying as I opened it:

(On messages Qi Ying and Zhou Jia)

Qi Ying: Lu Xia rejected me.

Me: Oh I'm sorry. Are you okay?

Qi Ying: I hope you do better than me...I'll get over this crush and good luck!
