五四：Decision

A/N: (I'm basing off the start of the school year when American schools typically start. For my school personally, it starts in the beginning of September and ends in the middle of June).

Your POV:

It's been a week and I still have morning sickness...

Luckily it's still like a week before summer break ends and we still have time to decide what to do with school.

School is gonna start in the fall and Lu Xia still doesn't know about the baby...

I'm scheduled to get the baby checked in about another week. My mother is gonna go with me so since Zhi has to attend University and Yu would be in school.

Lu Xia is also busy with tennis since he's a main player he has practice everyday. Zhi still goes just to help out if he doesn't have any college things to do. Yu is busy practicing with Guo Zi's tennis team. I'm just here doing some summer homework that got assigned and also watching and attending tennis practices with Lu Xia.

I'm still active and excising, but I'm always careful because of the baby. I know it's barely there, but still I haven't even met my baby yet and I already love it...

I always feel conscious at tennis practice because I think that the members will notice the bump that hasn't grown yet.

Jiale and Qiao Chen ask me a few times wondering why I don't really participate in actually running and practicing with the rest of them.

I would just make up and excuse as I they seem to brought it even though I think it's getting old.

While I'm at tennis practice, Yan keeps staring at me which I furrowed my eyebrows at that a few times. Why would he alway stare at me?

Does he like me? Well romantically? He knows I'm dating Lu Xia and plus I'm too young for him.

Yan always is observant and maybe he knows that I'm not that into tennis yet. 

Does he have a feeling that I-I'm...

" Hello Zhou Jia, nice to meet you I'm Dr. Chong and I'll be examining the developing baby today." She gently spoke as I felt at ease. At first I was pretty nervous since I haven't experienced it before.

" Hello, I'm Zhou Jia's mother, nice to meet you." My mom shook her the doctor's hand before she put gloves on.

" Okay, let's get started." Dr. Chong instructed as I nodded.

Lu Xia's POV:

" Zhou Zhi? Where's Jia?" I asked her brother as he smiled and patted my shoulder.

" She has a doctors appointment to attend so she's not gonna be here." He answered as I let a little down and nodded. I tried to keep focus, but the other part of my brain wonders about Jia.

I hope she's alright.

She's ben kinda distant, but at the same time I feel like something is off with her. I asked her a couple days ago, but she said that she was fine and I took her word for it.

Since Zhi was in his last year of high school, he goes to university and he can't be a starter. Along with Siyang, Yan, and Xinglong. Dayong is gonna he captain now and Siyang his giving him advice as well. He's a senior now, in his last year of high school when school comes. Jiale, Qiao Chen, and Baiyang are also in the same year. I'm the only Junior who's in year 2 that's a starter. I'm completely fine with that. I'm just worried about the rookies and the incoming freshman. Let's hope that they have potential.

Your POV:

" Alright! Your all done and you are indeed pregnant, 3 weeks along. Congratulations!" Dr. Chong informed as I weakly smiled and thanked her. I got cleaned up and I went to tennis practice.

Once I got there, I changed into my uniform with the jacket and everything as I hugged Lu Xia from behind as he was standing while drinking water.

" Hey babe. I though your were at the doctors?" He greeted as I nodded while looking him .

" I was they just finished earlier than I thought. How's the team?" I asked as he changed the subject.

" It's going good with Dayong being the new Captain. I'm just wondering who's gonna rise up for he rope for the rookies as we have one spot open for a starter position. They just have to beat 5/7 players that are starter to be a starter. Of course that would start in the begin ig of the school year when it's in session." He explained as I nodded and looked around at them practicing.

They kept practicing as I observed them. Yan cam around a little later as he taught me what notes to take and how you can calculate what they need like he did last year. I don't know if I can do this, but I'll give it a try.

At night, I laid in bed...with Lu Xia's embrace around me. He went to sleep as I just keep thinking what I should do. I know I have to make a decision sooner or later. My mother told me that she is willing to end my enrollment at Yu Qing and be homeschooled until I have the baby because there is no way in hell I'm going to get rid of it. Or the other option is online schooling.

A few minutes later, Lu Xia's hand subconsciously move over my stomach as I felt butterflies and warmth. I felt like he was protecting me and the baby as his grip tightened. We were spooning as he dug his face into my neck. His steady breathing helped me fall asleep knowing that I have decided with his help...

...to  tell Lu Xia that I'm pregnant and that it's his baby...

He deserves to know...
