四十：Truth

Your POV:

It's been like week and we have another tournament and I still kept it to myself on edge about this ex thing from last week's game. When I had to grab water bottle for the team, I took Zhi with me to help me carry them and in case if Qiao Ze was lurking around in the area waiting for me.

" Why did you want me to come here? I thought you were able to do this by yourself. You like to do things independently." He questioned as I nodded.

" Because I need help carrying it and I want some company. Plus this is brother sister bonding time too!" I explained as I told half of the truth. To be honest, I was a bit lonely. Mainly to keep Qiao Ze away from me.

I swear I can feel someone watching me, I don't know if I'm just paranoid or not. Something is sus.

When we were done getting the drinks, we just walked back. We were just casually walking until I spotted someone in the distance.

Is that Qiao Ze?

I stated to walk a little faster, my heart beating a bit quicker as well. I felt Zhi look at me with his curious expression he does.

" Oh? We're walking quicker now? I thought we were waking at a good pace. You have a reason?" He inquired as I exhaled a bit too loud. It brought more curiosity from Zhi.

" It's just that...that I feel li-" I was about to elaborate but someone cut me off. I felt a hand on my lower back as I turned to the person who touched me.

" Hey, nice to see Jia. I see you brought your brother to protect you..." Qiao Ze stated as I backed up slowly while looking at him with wide eyes. Without thinking I grabbed Zhi's wrist as I quickly noticed and pulled me close to him. Qiao Ze backed up with his hands in the air as Zhi flared at him.

" What do you mean?" He asked Qiao Ze as he smirked.

" Clearly Jia hasn't told you. Good girl." Qiao Ze responded with an intriguing expression.

" Stay away from her." Zhi protectively said as I still close to Zhi.

" Only if Jia wants too, if not then I'll still be on her tail." He warned as he walked away, I held back tears as I watched my psycho ex walk away casually like it's nothing.

" Shh, Shhh. It's okay. I'll protect you, Lu Xia will, the rest of Yu Qing, Yu will. We'll have your back. As well as Qi Ying, Peng Xiang, and Xu Xing Zi." My brother comforted me as we started to make our way towards the courts.

" When do you want to tell them?" He asked softly. I knew he was gonna ask that. I knew Lu Xia would ask why I kept it from him and I'm guessing Zhi is also wondering but not saying it.

" Uh, I want to tell Lu Xia privately and the rest of you at practice on Monday...can you help me?" I questioned him as he smiled and nodded.

" I'll always help my little sister. Unless it's something illegal." He responded.

" Thank you, abs you know that I wouldn't do anything illegal right?" I replied .

" Yeah...sure." He hesitantly agreed as I smacked his arm lightly.

We confies waking and I kept asking him if my eyes look red and puffy. He reassured me that it's not red and puffy.

After the games, I congratulated them for winning as I hugged Li Xia and I suggested to hangout together somewhere. He agreed and then lead me to his house. I let  my brother know but texting him. He told me that he'll let Yu know that you aren't coming him for a little while.

Once we arrived at his house, we sat on his bed while I leaned my head on his shoulder. Thinking how I start this conversation that I'm dreading.

" I love you and I want to explain something to you. Last week I ran into Qiao Ze while buying drinks for you guys during the match." I started out looking at my lap as I sat on the bench next to Lu Xia.

" I love you too. Are you okay? I'm a bit worried Zhou Jia." He responded as I took some deep breathes then I lifted my head off his shoulder.

" I got kissed agasinst my will by Qiao Ze...he touched my waist and told me he'll get me back...I'm so sorry Lu Xia..." I informed while trying to hold back tears. I failed miserably as I saw wet patched on my pants from my tears that were streaming down my face.

I don't know if Lu Xia is next to me still. My peripheral vision is blinded by the tears. 

All of the sudden, he just got up and got his hat and phone while heading towards the door of his room.

" Where are you going?" I asked him weakly, silently pleading for him to comeback and comfort me.

" I'll be back." He stated as he looked at me and then closed the door to his bed room leaving me all alone.

Wow.

I didn't think that he'll react like this. I told him what happened and that I clearly didn't like that situation...

I guess he needs some time to wrap his head around it...

I just laid on his bed sobbing as I hoped that he'll be coming back instead of just abandoning me...
