I spent my days at St. Mungo's playing with the Weasley kids (except Percy, he's pretty boring) and knitting. Bill would lie down next to me with his head buried into my my neck as we talked. Talked about Hogwarts, talked about his family, talked about anything. The Weasley's were quite the family.
Mr. Weasley came to visit and was very nice. He works at the Ministry and loves anything to do with muggles.
Mrs. Weasley is a stay at home Mum who has to take care of all the kids. Seven kids! Five when Bill and Charlie were at Hogwarts.
Percy, the third oldest, was a smartass. He was pretty nice but spent most of his time visiting me talking about his future. It was great that he already knew what he wanted to do at such a young age, but it was all he ever talked about.
Fred and George. Oh. My. Merlin. Where do I begin. They are absolute mad lads. And I love them for that. Those two seven year old's drive Mr. and Mrs. Weasley up the wall. They constantly pull pranks, and jokes. They run around St. Mungo's and the Healers get so annoyed.
Except Healer Kirk, he loves them just as much as I do. He says they make things more fun.
Bill told me that this is their tame side, but at home they're even worse.Ron and Ginny are the youngest two. Ron is 5 and Ginny is 4. They are the cutest kids. They like to snuggle up to me while I tell them about Hogwarts and all the cool magic and animals there are there. They love listening to my stories about my crazy times with Hagrid.
Since I could only sit in bed and do nothing else, I had the time to finish all my knitting gifts.
I even made stuff for the rest of the Weasley's!Christmas Eve was the day I got to go to The Burrow and I was really exited. When it finally rolled around, Kirk came to check on me and make sure I was completely healed. Mr. Weasley came to take me home. We Apparated to The Burrow and when we walked in, I was attacked by everyone. Charlie, the twins, Ron and Ginny tackled me to the ground while their parents tried to calm them down. Percy just gave me a small hug when I stood up.
"Where's Bill?" I asked, slightly disappointed he was not there.
Mrs. Weasley smiled at me. "He doesn't know you're here, he's still upstairs sleeping. We made him think your coming home tomorrow, go surprise him!" she led me to his room.
I approached the bed he was sleeping in. He looked so peaceful, his mouth slightly open, his hair messy and popping out from underneath the blankets.
I shook him awake and he groaned turning to look at me. "Mum, not -FAWN!" He grabbed me and pulled me onto his bed, hugging me tightly. "I thought you were coming tomorrow!"
"Nope, it was a surprise," I replied, grinning.
He pulled away from me, grabbed my face and smashed his lips into mine. "I'm so glad your ok." he mumbled against my lips.
The rest of the day passed with everyone trying to get me to do something with them.
"Come play Quidditch with me!" Charlie cried.
"No can you teach me some History of magic?" Percy pleaded.
"We want to pull pranks with her!." The twins yelled.
"Tell me and Ron a storyyyy," Ginny whined.
"Pleaseeeeee!" said Ron, hugging my legs.
I held up a hand. "How about we all take turns?"
So that's what we did. At the end of the day, I was laying with Bill on his bed, our hands entwined together.
"I love watching you with my family, they all really love you," he said, while stroking my hair.
I smiled and closed my eyes. "They're wonderful, you have a beautiful family."
The next morning was Christmas. Ginny and I bounded down the stairs to see everyone sitting at the table. I tossed everyone their gifts.
"Oh you didn't have to..." Percy said blushing.
I waved a hand. "It's the least I could do."
Everyone opened my gifts for them. I made hats for Bill, Charlie, Ron and Ginny. I made gloves for Percy (he kept complaining about his old ripped pair) and I made matching scarves for Fred and George. I made a hat and scarf set for Mrs. Weasley and a glove and scarf set for Mr. Weasley. They loved them.
Mrs. Weasley patted my cheek and out more food onto my plate. Mr. Weasley squeezed my shoulder. Percy hugged me. Fred and George all but pounced on me, telling me how much they loved the scarves. And Bill kissed my cheek while Charlie cried with happiness. Ron and Ginny wore their hats happily the entire day, even in the bath and I had overheard Mrs. Weasley yelling at them
Everyone came to me and thanked me. Then it was time for gifts from them.
Mrs. Weasley made me a knitted purple jumper with a large black F on the front. Charlie got me a new pair of quidditch gloves and Bill got me a beautiful necklace with a small beater bat on it. I loved all the gifts and thanked them, tears springing in my eyes.
Owl post had come the night before and I got makeup from Rue, a book about exotic magical creatures from Damon, a bracelet from Lucas and perfume from Finley.
That night, Ron and Ginny wanted me to read them a bedtime story. I sat on the bed between them while they rested their heads on my shoulders. By the time I finished the book they were both fast sleep. Bill walked in and smiled at the scene, before coming over and sleeping with us.

On the last day of the winter break, Bill and I decided to take a small walk around the backyard and hangout in the snow for a bit. I put on my hat and gloves and zipped up my jacket all the way up to my chin. We walked hand in hand, not saying anything. We were just enjoying each others company."You know, this is the first time I'm actually disappointed that break is over," I said.
"Yeah?" Bill said.
I nodded. "Mhm, I never liked staying at home. But here.... it's all so wonderful and loving,"
Bill stopped walking and looked at me. "I'm just glad your here,"
And he leaned down to kiss me.
