Unexpected | Bill Weasley

We all stared at Dumbledore in shock. I looked over at Sirius.

"Trust me, It's a good thing you never met them." he said grimly.

I let out a shaky laugh. "So, you're telling me that one of my sisters is a crazy, murderous, cold-blooded woman?"

Dumbledore nodded. "I'm sorry, but yes."

Tonks gave me a small smile. "That makes my mum your sister! She's a wonderful woman. I always thought you looked a lot like her."

Everyone was really shocked at this news. Mr. and Mrs. Weasley were looking at me with worried expressions, probably wondering how I'd react. Bill had taken my hand and started running his thumb across my knuckles. Tonks, Sirius, Remus, Lucas, Finley and Damon were looking at me as if they had never seen me before. And everyone else was staring at Dumbledore.

"That makes you my cousin!" said Sirius, his eyes suddenly lighting up.

I chuckled. "Yeah, yeah it does."

"Wait, that means.... you're my aunt?" said Tonks, making a weird face. "But you're only two years older than me, it's weird."

I smiled and looked back at Dumbledore. "So, how did you figure this out?"

He spoke. "I found Druella Black in hiding. Very recently, she died of old age, but I managed to persuade her to speak the truth. She said that after you were born, she and Cygnus realized they didn't want another child. And so they left you on the doorstep of the Starlings, and told your sisters that you died. They went to school with the Starlings. They weren't friends with them, but they knew where the Starlings lived. The Starlings don't know you're a Black ."

"How did you know it was them though?"

"You look like Andromeda's twin sister." he replied simply.

It was silent for a moment.

"However," he said. "You cannot tell anyone else. With Voldemort back, there is no doubt that he would want you on his side. And I'm sure Bellatrix will try to win you over as well. So you must remain with the name Starling at school and anywhere else."

After the meeting, he and some others left. Minerva placed a comforting hand on my shoulder before leaving. When the younger kids came down, we told them about me being a Black. They were all very surprised but tried not to show it.

As we were eating, I suddenly choked on my butterbeer as I realized something. After Remus cleared my airway with his wand, I gasped out "That means I'm Draco Malfoy's aunt!"

Ron, Fred and George let out groans and cry's of 'OH MY GOD WHY." Ginny and Hermione crinkled their noses and Sirius burst out laughing.

"You just realized that?" he said.

I glared at him. "It's a lot to take in."

Bill kissed my temple and rubbed my back. Sirius glared at us.

"What are you looking at?" I asked.

Sirius pursed his lips. "I don't like what's happening here. You're my cousin and I shall protect you!"

Everyone started giggling and Remus closed his eyes and pinched the bridge of his nose.

"Sirius we only found out that you and I are cousins like ten minutes ago!" I said. "And Bill and I have been engaged for a year now."

Sirius shrugged as Tonks snorted into her drink.
