I don't know how long I sat there crying, until I couldn't cry anymore. I stood up and ran out of the Great Hall.

"FAWN!" Bill called out, but I ignored him.

I bumped into Draco.

"Aunt Fawn!" he said, pulling me into a hug.

I gasped for breath and hugged him.

"Oh Draco," I whispered.

We sat down, leaning against the wall.

"What happened?" Draco asked me.

"My best friend is gone." I whispered.

"I'm so sorry."

Draco took my hand as we sat there.

You're going to have a cousin." I said finally.

He looked at me. "What?" His eyes trailed down to my stomach and he smiled at me.

I stood up. "I'm going to go help."

He nodded. "I'll stay here, everyone knows I'm a Death Eater I-"

I hugged him before walking away. I saw Neville and Oliver.

"Oi!" I called out and they looked over.

Neville hugged me and Oliver shook my hand. I looked around and my face scrunched up, though no tears fell. I saw Colin Creevey among the dead.

"You know what? I can manage him alone, Neville," said Oliver and he heaved Colin over his shoulder in a fireman's lift and carried him into the Great Hall.

Neville leaned against the door frame for a moment and wiped his forehead with the back of his hand. He looked like an old man. Then he set off on the steps again into the darkness to recover more bodies.

I helped carry bodies, knowing all from teaching them. I went back out to see Neville, bending over another body.

"Let me help." I said.

Neville looked up and nodded.

"Neville. Fawn."

Neville and I jumped and turned around to see Harry, holding his Invisibility Cloak.

"Blimey, Harry, you nearly gave me heart failure!" said Neville.

"Where are you going, alone?" I asked suspiciously.

"It's all part of the plan," said Harry. "There's something I've got to do. Listen ---Neville ---Fawn-"

"Harry!" Neville looked suddenly scared. "Harry, you're not thinking of handing yourself over?"

"Don't you dare Harry Potter!" I said angrily.

"No," Harry said. "'Course not . . . this is something else. But I might be out of sight for a while. You know Voldemort's snake. Neville? Fawn? He's got a huge snake . . . Calls it Nagini . . ."

I nodded. "Yea,"

"I've heard, yeah . . . What about it?" said Neville.

"It's got to be killed. Ron and Hermione know that, but just in case they --- " Harry stopped. "Just in case they're --- busy --- and you get the chance ---"

"Kill the snake?" asked Neville.

"Kill the snake," Harry repeated.

"Alright Harry." I said.

I hugged Harry, and he pulled the Cloak back on and left.

I kept helping with moving bodies to the Great Hall. Bill ran to me and hugged me.
