While Harry went to the bathroom, Neville and I went to our compartment. Harry never showed up and we all assumed he had left without us, but after we all got off the train and we still couldn't find him, I decided to go check the train again.
"I'll go see if I can find Harry," I said. "You go on, you don't wan to be late for the feast. I'll send Professor Dumbledore a Patronus to tell him what I'm doing."
The others left and I quickly went on the train again. I saw Tonks checking the train too.
"Hello Tonks." I said.
She looked and and gave me a slight smile. "Hello Fawn, what are you doing?"
"Looking for Harry."
"Oh?"
I nodded. "I never saw him get off the train, let's check together."
We went down the train together and checked the compartments. I found one with the blinds drawn. The I remembered that this was the one that Draco was sitting in, and Harry had his Invisibility Cloak with him.
I opened the compartment, pointed my wand out and said "Accio Cloak!"
The cloak lifted from the ground and onto my hand and I saw Harry laying on the floor, frozen, looking at me with wide eyes. His nose looked broken and it was bleeding.
I pointed my wand at him. "Finite!"
Harry unfroze and sat up with a groan. I grabbed his hand and pulled him up.
"I've got him Tonks!" I said, just as the train began to move.
We all jumped off. Tonks and I landed smoothly but Harry almost fell and Tonks caught him.
"Careful."
"Thanks."
"I'd better get going." said Tonks.
We said goodbye to Tonks and walked to the castle.
"I'll just send a Patronus to tell the Professors I've got you,"
After I sent one, I turned to Harry.
"I could fix your nose."
Harry nodded and I pointed my wand at his face and said, "Episky!"
He smiled and felt his nose. "Great thanks!"
"So, what were you doing?" I asked, as we walked to Hogwarts.
"Um, Malfoy broke my nose."
"Right, and why?"
He looked down. "I was listening in on his conversation."
I sighed. "Harry don't do that, I'm dealing with Draco alright?"
Harry sighed. "Ok ok I'm sorry."
We finally reached the Hogwarts gates and Harry pushed them.
"It's locked," I said. "New Security's been tightened a hundredfold this summer. We'll just wait for someone to come, I sent that in my Patronus too."
We stood and waited.
"Couldn't you open it?" Harry asked.
I shook my head. "Only Professor Dumbledore can open it from the outside."
We saw Snape walking down to us.
"Well, well, well," sneered Snape, taking out his wand and tapping the padlock once, so that the chains snaked backward and the gates creaked open. "Nice of you to turn up, Potter, although you have evidently decided that the wearing of school robes would detract from your appearance."
"I couldn't change, I didn't have my —" Harry began, but Snape cut across him.
"Let us go." he said to us.
"I meant Hagrid to get the message," I said, following Snape.
"Hagrid was late for the start-of-term feast, just like Potter here, so I took it instead." said Snape, standing back to allow Harry to pass him.
The three of us walked into the castle.
"Fifty points from Gryffindor for lateness, I think," said Snape. "And, let me see, another twenty for your Muggle attire. You know, I don't believe any House has ever been in negative figures this early in the term: We haven't even started pudding. You might have set a record, Potter."
"Professor Snape," I said. "We don't need to take any points away from Harry, another student broke Harry's nose purposely."
"You may take points away from whoever did this when you see them Professor Black, but Potter deserves the points I've taken away."
I narrowed my eyes but said nothing.
"I suppose you wanted to make an entrance, did you?" Snape continued to Harry. "And with no flying car available you decided that bursting into the Great Hall halfway through the feast ought to create a dramatic effect."
I opened my mouth to speak but Snape glared at me and I shut my mouth.
"No cloak Potter," Snape said. "You can walk in so that everyone sees you, which is what you wanted, I'm sure."
Harry turned sharply on his heels and strode into the Great Hall.
