Fawn POV:
I woke up with a groan and was attacked by Bill who smashed his lips on mine. I wrapped my arms around his neck but we were suddenly wrenched apart.
"Don't attack her with your mouth please Mr. Weasley." said Poppy irritably. "She needs to rest!"
Bill looked sheepish. "Sorry."
I smiled at Bill and held his hand.
Harry hugged me. "I'm so glad you're ok."
I pulled him back. "What happened to me?"
Harry tucked his hands in his pocket and explained everything that happened to me.
I felt my heart clench. "You went after her?"
He nodded and I felt tears spring into my eyes. The fact that Harry was angry enough to kill Bellatrix after he thought she killed me really meant a lot to me. "Thank you Harry, but stop going headfirst into trouble please."
He chuckled. "Trouble always finds me."
I looked around the room and saw Ron and Hermione in two other beds. Luna and Neville were standing next to Harry.
Just as everyone finished hugging me, the doors burst open and Draco ran into the room. He threw himself on top of me. "Aunt Fawn! I can't believe it! I'm so sorry I can't believe your own sister would try to kill you!" he sobbed.
I rubbed his back. "Oh Draco I'm fine, just calm yourself."
I noticed everyone staring at Draco with shock and I knew what they were thinking. Draco never showed any emotions or any traces that he cared about anyone or anything.
He got up and I wiped his tears. "It's fine."
He sniffed. "My mum wants to meet you." he said.
I raised an eyebrow. "You told her?"
He shook his head. "No. You didn't read the Daily Prophet?"
"No."
Luna stepped forwards and handed me the Daily Prophet. "Here you go Professor Starling. Or should I call you Professor Black now? Everyone knows already."
I opened up the Daily Prophet and began to read aloud.
"Bellatrix Lestrange has still not been found after her departure with He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. It is said that Fawn Black (who had always gone by Fawn Starling), the History of Magic Professor at Hogwarts, is Lestrange's believed to be dead sister. Lestrange had attempted to murder Black but the Boy Who Lived deflected the curse and saved Black. Parents are now worried about Black being a Professor at Hogwarts...."
I stopped reading with a sigh. "Well, it was bound to get out soon I suppose." I noticed a figure wearing all pink in the bed across from me. "Is that Umbridge?"
Hermione snorted and told me about how she and Harry lured her into the forest centaurs took her away, then Dumbledore went in and came back with her, though no one knew what happened since Dumbledore won't say, and apparently Umbridge hasn't said a single word since coming back.
I started laughing and my side started to hurt. "No way! Ow."
Bill squeezed my hand. "Careful."
I took a closer look at Umbridge. Her usually neat mousy hair was very untidy and there were bits of twig and leaf in it, but otherwise she seemed to be quite unscathed.
"Madam Pomfrey says she's just in shock," whispered Hermione.
"Sulking, more like." said Ginny.
"Yeah, she shows signs of life if you do this," said Ron, and with his tongue he made soft clip-clopping noises. Umbridge sat bolt upright, looking wildly around.
