Gary was set to begin his forth season at Bromley but decided that he wanted a transfer. He didn't want to play in leauge 2 anymore so asked the boss for a move to a new club. The manager wasn't happy about it but he acepted his request and put him on the transfer list. Gary would now go home and wait to see what clubs make an offer for him.
A few days later, Gary recived a call from his boss. It was to say that Nottingham Forest had made an offer for him. He was told that he had three days to responed. Three days later, Gary gave Bromley the call to say that he would be accepting the transfer and moving to Forest. Every at Bromley was gutted but it was in Gary's best intrest.
Gary would now go to the ground to say his goodbyes and get going on the long journey to Nottingham Forest to meat his new teammates. Gary was Bromley's best striker for 3 years before today. They are now on a search for a new striker. Gary had said before he left that he would still keep in touch with his teammates.
When he got to Forest's training ground, he recievied a big reception from the players and staff. He jumped out of his car to go and meet everyone properly for the first time. Once he had said hello to everyonre, he wnent to go and say hi to the boss. They just went through what his expectations of Gary were for the upcoming season.
After the meating, Gary got into his training kit ready to train for the first time. He knew he wasn't gonna get into the firdt team straght away. But he said that he would fight for the place. During the meeting with the manager, he was told that he would be 2nd choice striker this season. Gary now was expecting to be on the bench for the first fe games.
There is only 1 week to go till the first game of the season against Brentford. Gary was training his socks off to try and improve to get into the first team. He kept on doing the same routine for the next 6 days and now there is only 1 day till the Brentford game.
Gary recived the call to say he was on the bench for today's match against Brentford.
