Gary only played 4 games in the first 23 games of the season. He scored in one and came of the bench in the other.
He was picked to start the next match as their main striker was injured. Gary put Bromley 1-0 in front by halftime. In the second half, Gary got injured so he had to come off. The game finished 2-1 to Bromley.
After the game, Gary found out how long he was going to be out for. He was going to be out for 3 months. He will be back playing in March.
3 months later, Gary was back in training and ready to play. He was the bench for his first game back.
Bromley went into halftime 0-0 so Gary came on. He had a good start to the second half. Gary had 2 shots on goal and 1 on target but neither side could score as the game finished 0-0.
Gary didn't get picked in the next game for some reason. The game was on telly so he decided to watch it on there.
Bromley didn't have a great start going 1-0 down inside 40 mins. The went into halftime needing a better second half.
They couldn't do anything in the second half. They conceded again as they lost 2-0.
10 games later, Gary had played 7 and rested 3. He scored in 3 of them and got an assist in 1 to.
Gary was picked to start in the 36th game of the season. But this time he was on the left wing.
He didn't do very well from there as that position isn't his normal one. He got an assist tho after crossing the ball in for the striker to get a header on it.
Bromley went into halftime with a 1 goal lead. Gary got taken of in the second half as they won the game 1-0.
Gary didn't play after that till the last 2 games were they had already secured play-offs.
Gary started the 45th game and scored in the 45th minute to put them 1-0 up at halftime. Bromley then went 2-0 as Gary got taken off after that goal as the game finished 2-0.
Last day and Gary was on the bench. He wanted to come on and try and get the fans pumping.
Bromley went 1-0 up at halftime. Gary came on in the 80th minute as Bromley scored though Gary as he scored his 6th goal of the season. The game finished 2-0 to Bromley.
At full time everyone was shaking hands with each other after an outstanding season.
The manager went over to Gary and said a few words like well done mate and other good stuff.
Bromley now had to get ready for the play-offs in 3 weeks time as they try and seek promotion to the football league.
