3 weeks later and Gary was ready for the play-offs as much as Bromley.
Gary was on the bench for the first game against Sutton at Sutton's ground.
The game had a good start after both teams scored in the first 10 minutes to make it 1-1. After them 2 goals, there was nothing as the game was 1-1 at halftime.
Gary came on in the 45th minute to play the 2nd half and Gary scored in the 60th minute to make it 2-1. Sutton had so many chances but couldn't get an equaliser as Bromley won 2-1.
Bromley were 2-1 up heading into the second leg at Bromley. Gary was in the first 11 for this game.
Gary had a few chances in the first half an hour but couldn't find a breakthrough. The first goal came in the 42nd minute and it was for Sutton as they made it 2-2 on aggregate.
The second half started and Bromley needed to score if thay wanted to go through to Wembley and go up the league 2.
Gary scored in the 65th minute and put Bromley 3-2 up on aggregate. Sutton scored again in the 88th minute and made it 3-3 as the game went into extra time.
30 more minutes of football to play. Both teams did a 1 minute team talk as they both wanted to play at Wembley.
Gary got taken off in the 104th minute. Halftime in extra time came and no team had scored yet as it stayed 3-3 on aggregate.
Bromley scored in the 116th minute of extra time as Bromley went 4-3 up on aggregate now. Sutton tried and tried but just couldn't score as Bromley made it through to Wembley.
The day came as Bromley were ready to play at Wembley for the first time ever. Gary was on the coach thinking if he would score or not.
Gary was on the bench for the game but he walked out at Wembley in front of 50,000 fans and got a bit nervous.
Bromley went 1-0 up against Notts County inside 45 minutes as halftime approached.
Gary came on in the 75th minute for a little run around. He got an assist in the 89th minute to put Bromley 2-0 up. The full time whistle blew as Bromley started celebrating.
They received their medals for winning promotion to league 2 via the play-offs. Gary was really happy as he would be playing in the football league but he was worried that he wouldn't play in league 2.
