Gemma looks at herself on her full body mirror. It's finally May and it's prom night. Karen is downstairs talking to Emmett. Gemma smiles at herself before she finally goes downstairs. Emmett's jaw drops when he sees Gemma in her gorgeous salmon pink and navy blue dress that reaches her mid thigh with a sparkly, pale pink belt and salmon heels.
"You look amazing," Emmett compliments.
"Oh, my baby!" Karen gasps. "Get together!"
Mike and Jessica look at each other.
"You two, too!" Karen instructs.
Gemma winks at her friend and her brother before they all get together. Karen takes a picture of the four of them and then couple pictures before sending them on their way.
Emmett opens the door of his Jeep for Gemma and she curtsies. Emmett sighs at her dramatics and he helps her climb up while she's wearing heels and a dress. Emmett and Mike share a smile before getting in behind the stirring wheel of their vehicles and they drive to the mansion where prom is being held.
Emmett and Gemma stop for a picture before entering. Emmett twirls her around with a smile and they walk over to where the picture booth is. Emmett poses as James Bond and Gemma as Pussy Galore. Jessica and Mike take their spot when Emmett drags Gemma to the dance floor spin her around and around in circles with Gemma in his arms.
Gemma grins massively as Emmett does. Emmett keeps Gem close to him as they dance to the slow song. Gemma walks over to Rosalie and Jasper when a fast song comes on. Chamberlin and Emmett attempt to be good dancers while the bust out moves while Alice goes to the bathroom to primp a little bit.
"And here we are, letting our men attempt to dance," Gemma muses.
Rosalie grins as Jasper laughs a little. Rosalie and Jasper are Gemma's best friends. She loves them to pieces. She and Jasper were friends first, somehow, and she and Rosalie were friends once the blonde vampire warmed up to the idea of having Gemma around.
Gemma walks over to the lunch table while the song changes to a slow one, and she gets her a cup while Emmett starts up a conversation with Tyler. He'd talk to anyone, literally. Gem smiles a little and she spits a familiar redhead staring right at her. Victoria. Gemma waves sarcastically with a smirk and Victoria smirks right back and she waves in return.
Gemma walks over to Emmett with her lunch and he smiles down at her. "Hey," she greets.
"Hey," Emmett greets in return while Victoria watches them.
Victoria smirks and she sends a text to Laurent before she goes upstairs. ⚜️⚜️⚜️
The prom night ends with Gemma and Emmett naked amd in Emmett's bed, fresh bruises lingering Gemma's body now that her makeup is removed. Emmett is propped up on his elbow and he watches as Gemma goes to the bathroom to use it and shower.
Emmett loves that girl, and he's not ever gonna let her go.
