It's now Thanksgiving Day in Forks, Washington. Gemma made pies the night before, and some homemade potato salad and cole slaw. She and Karen have spent the rest of the day cooking. The Stanley's and Weber's are coming over and thankfully, the Newton women usually cook enough to feed an army or a hungry pack of wolves every Thanksgiving.

Angela and Jessica are talking away with Mike in the living room when Gemma calls them to the Thanksgiving decorated dining room bevauxe the food is done and the table has officially been set.

"The food looks amazing, Mrs. Newton," Jessica compliments. "And Gemma."

"Thank you," Karen and Gemma reply in sync.

The two look at each other before sitting around the table. Everyone joins hands and Karen leads everyone in their usual Thanksgiving prayer and they begin eating and talking about their years and Thanksgiving break from school and jobs, and Karen tells Mr. and Mrs. Stanley and Ms. Weber about her being in full remission from her cancer.
