Gemma and Alice are standing and watching Bella attempt to walk in heels. It's been a rocky road since Bella asked Alice to plan her wedding. Alice is very persistent and she's a perfectionist. Gemma just knows this wedding will be wonderful.
Alice has agreed that, once Edward and Bella are gone and on their honeymoon, she will work with Rosalie on planning the Cullen/Newton wedding.
Bella looks down at her feed and she stumbles a little as the heels slide against the stone.
"You just have to break them in," Alice claims.
"I've been breaking them in. For three days," Bella replies. "Can I just go barefoot?"
"No, absolutely not," Gemma answers sternly.
"Just thinking it's a little much, you know?" Bella sighs. "The dress, the shoes, and all this."
Gemma looks onto the back lawn. Jasper, Carlisle, and Chamberlin are all walking together - carrying benches for the wedding tomorrow.
"It's exactly enough," Alice chirps. "Tomorrow is going to be perfect."
Emmett walks into the yard, carrying a long tree trunk. "Where do you want them, boss?"
"On either side of the aisle," Alice replies.
"What aisle?" Rosalie asks as she walks up with the same thing.
"Gemma, come on," Alice says. "Does no one else have any vision?"
Bella takes the heels off once Gemma and Alice go to help the boys, and she slips into her converse. She is very happy for Gemma and Emmett and their engagement. They're planning on getting married after Edward and Bella's honey,Lon, they're not wanting to steal their spotlight.
Emmett and Gemma lean against a tree in the woods as he holds her. "I can't believe you said yes to me. Me, the biggest goofball you'll ever meet."
Gemma kisses Emmett, one he quickly returns. "I said yes because I love you, Ememtt McCarty Cullen. I cannot wait to become your wife."
Emmett moves to where Gemma is against another tree. "If we have sex out here, Alice will kill us."
"Alice will survive," Gemma muses.
Emmett smirks and he grabs her, and vamp speeds her a good distance away, staying on their side of the treaty and hidden from the wolves and vampires. ✔️✔️✔️
Gemma and Emmett are sitting in their bed. Gem is telling him what happened that day in Seattle when she was turned. She had been shpppinf with her mom and Rosalie. She went and she ate, then she had to use the bathroom. She screamed when Victoria hit her and Rosalie eas the only one who had heard her.
That was the second worst day of Gemma's life, thr first being the day her dad died. She even tells Emmett that.
"I gotta go," Emmett says later, once the talking is done. "Bachelor party."
"You boys don't get into too much trouble now," Gemma winks.
Emmett gives Gemma a loving kiss before he gets up. "You know I can't promise that."
"Oh, I knew that when I said yes," Gemma replies. "Go before Jasper comes in here."
Emmett picks Gemma on the lips once more. Gemma goes downstairs and she spends the rest of the day with Alice and Rosalie since Alice is forcing Bella to get some beauty sleep for her wedding tomorrow.
