Add A Little Spice;
"Does this look good?"
I looked up to see Miranda in jeans and a hoodie with a messy bun on top of her head. "Miranda, no one wears jeans and a hoodie to a party," I sighed as I threw her a dress.
"I am not dressing up! I refuse!" She exclaimed as she looked over the dress.
I gave her a look to which she grunted and went into the bathroom. "Love you!" I yelled after to which she just screamed back.
After ten minutes, Miranda walked out and I awed her as she looked beautiful. "Let's go," I cheered and dragged her out.
"Y/n, I swear to Merlin's bottomless grave if anything happens-" I put my hand up and stopped her as I smiled, "Nothing will. I won't leave you alone."
She eyes me curiously and I dragged her down the stairs where we saw Wren and Alex. "You guys look amazing, where are you going?" Wren blushed as he looked at Miranda.
"Oh, Miranda likes this guy and he invited us to his birthday party. You don't know him, he's a Gryffindor," I quickly interjected.
Wren frowned slightly as Miranda gave me a harsh look to which I ignored. "Anyways, I'll see you around boys," I smiled and dragged Miranda out of the common room.
"What the hell, y/n? Why did you say that?" She whisper-shouted as soon as we exited the common room.
"Don't worry. We'll just tell them you lost interest," I explained and she rolled her eyes in frustration before following me.
We arrived at the dungeons which wasn't too far of a walk from our common room. Miranda was eyeing me carefully and the second we arrived at the entrance of the Slytherin common room she stopped.
"No! Absolutely not, y/n. No," she huffed, crossing her arms over her chest.
"Miranda, I won't leave your side. I just want to see what they want," I pouted as I walked over to her.
She raised a brow before srunching her face and snatching the paper out of my hand. She knocked three times, pretty aggressively may I add, and someone opened the door.
"Hi, my name is y/n and this is my plus one. Here-" Before I could finish the young boy snatched my invite, scanned it a few seconds and widened the door for us.
I thanked the gentleman and yanked Miranda in with me.
The second we entered the common room, we covered our ears as the music was beaming too loudly. "Are they drinking?" Miranda yelled as she npointed to a corner.
"Yeah but don't worry, we won't have any," I mentioned and she nodded her head in agreement.
I never found firewhiskey or any alcoholic beverage nice. When I was 13 my father allowed me to have the slightest sip and it was honestly disgusting, I don't know why people insist on drinking that junk
"You made it!" I turned around to see Theodore, Draco and Blaise walking up to us.
I smiled at the boys and yanked Miranda near me who simply waved her hand. "Thank you for inviting us. It's a lovely party," I smiled at the boys.
"No problem. Help yourselves to a couple of drinks, Miranda. Draco, here, would like to speak to y/n," Theo added as he pushed Draco towards us.
Miranda looked at me with widened eyes and I pointed to a group of Ravenclaw's in a corner who I know she is familiar with. She shook her head but I urged her to go sit with them since no one will bother her there.
