Liar;

I was in the room of requirement with Draco, finally finished with the cabinet. I demanded we spend a day polishing and cleaning it up, it was horrendous. It was a Saturday too so I was pretty much free.

"You know, you're really hot when you're cleaning," he whispers in my ear as he holds my waist.

I sharply turn around and hit him with the rag, "So, I'm only hot when I'm cleaning? Only hot when I'm fulfilling the duties that society has placed upon women?"

He chuckles slowly as he places a kiss on my head, "I was kidding. You just look hot when you are so focused."

I wrapped my arms around his neck and places a chaste kiss on his lips. "Nice dave," I scoffed.

"Mhm," he smiled, intensifying our kiss. He lifted me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist as he carried me to the couch.

"You know, the cabinet just needs a final polishing spell and you can hand it in," I giggled as he breathed onto my neck.

He stopped kissing me and looked up, cocking a brow. "I'm trying to seduce you and you're talking about the bloody cabinet?" He asked in disbelief.

"I don't want you getting a bad grade," I pouted, giggling as he cupped my chin. He tensed slightly but soon relaxed as he looked into my eyes.

Another giggle escaped my lips as he kept on tickling me, I was a very ticklish person. "Draco, stop it!" I squealed.

"Nope!" He chuckled, tickling harder.

I managed to flip us over, me on top of him with him under. I persuaded him to wear a hoodie and he looked so comfortable and normal for once, he didn't look uptight and old.

I tried tickling him but he didn't move a muscle, instead smirked at me. "Are you broken?" I asked.

"Nope! Just not ticklish," his smirk grew as he winked at me.

I tried his stomach but nothing. "I know, this does it all the time," I smiled.

I lifted his sleeve up - on his left arm - and his eyes widened. I saw a black ink mark but before I could examine what it was, he pushed his sleeve down.

"Draco?" I asked, inching away from him slightly.

He cursed under his breath as he tightly gripped his sleeve. "Draco!" I raised my voice slightly, his eyes finally flickering over to mine.

"What the hell was that?" I asked, my breathing becoming unsteady as his eyes are suddenly filled with worry.

"Y/n, wait. I-I can explain," he says, walking towards me.

I take a step back and my eyes are filled with tears, "Explain what? There was black ink on your left arm, what the hell was that?"

He didn't move, he stared down at the floor. When it was obvious he wasn't going to say anything, I stormed up to him and pulled his sleeve all the way up.

My heart tore as I saw the Dark Mark on his arm. The ugly mark that was branded on his precious skin. "Y-You-" I stuttered.

My tears were falling down as I stared at the ugly mark on his arm. "Y/n, I can explain," he says as he walks towards me.

I stop him as I shake my head, leaning against the cabinet, "No. You're one of them. You-You're part of the people that hurt me."

"No, Y/n, I'm not. Let me explai-" He began.

"NO!" I screamed, both of us in shock as to how loud I screamed.

I began to sob and I pushed past him, running, needing to leave this place. "Y/N!" He yelled, I could tell he was following after me.

I exited the room of requirement and cursed myself silently as I saw Wren and Miranda, their eyes looking over at me. "Y/n, I said I can-" Draco came out and stopped as he saw my friends.

"Le-Leave me a-alone," I sobbed, pushing past my friends as I run down to the basement.

Draco Malfoy is a death eater. He is a death eater. The same organisation which killed my grandfather, killed my best friend.

I shoved past everyone, ignoring the stares I was getting from people I call my friends.

I arrive at the basement and tickle the pair, running down to the door which led into the kitchen. I yank the door open and three startled elves jumped.

Dottie walked over to me and I instantly fell to my knees, hugging the elf as I finally broke. "Oh miss Y/n. Miss is scaring Dottie," she whimpers, stroking my hair.

I cry and cry into her shoulder as I hold on tightly, afraid if I let go I will be a victim.

"Dottie will give miss food. Please miss," the elf begged.

I nodded my head as she attempted to help me up, she wrapped her hands around my finger and walked me over to the back room.

She opened the door and it revealed eight beds - this must be their room. "Miss just relax in Dottie's bed and Dottie will bring Miss cake," Dottie said, helping me on her bed.

Surprisingly her bed was big enough for me.

I whimpered as I hugged my body, leaning against the wall.

Dottie came back shortly with a wheel filled with food. "Dottie, you didn't h-have to," I smiled at the elf.

"Miss is upset, Dottie doesn't like it when Miss is upset," she frowned.

I gave her a short smile and patted the seat next to me, telling her to come to sit. "Does Miss want to tell Dottie what happened? Is it Miss's parents?" She asked, looking at me with her big green eyes.

I shook my head, "Not this time. Someone broke my heart." Dottie gasped as if I had just offended her, "Who? Dottie will make sure they be punished."

A chuckle escaped my lips, "Thank you, Dottie. Unfortunately, I can't say. But I can tell you why." Dottie nodded her head.

I grabbed the chocolate pudding and began devouring it. "I liked this boy. I may have even fallen for him. The truth is I've always liked him. He kept a secret from me after I confided in him and well it broke me. I can't talk to him after this," I explained.

"Is Dottie allowed to give advice to Miss?" Dottie asked, wiping her mouth which was covered in chocolate putting. "Of course," I nodded.

Dottie placed the pudding down and turned to me. "Dottie has experienced love. Lover died years ago. Dottie learned that it is best to not hold anything. Dottie and lover had a fight before lover died. Dottie regretted not hearing lover out. Dottie carries that pain every day," she frowned.

"Oh, baby," I pouted, pulling her into a tight hug.

"Dottie is fine Miss! Listen to your lover, talk to lover. Miss will feel better," she finished.

I nodded against her shoulder, knowing she's right. "Thank you, Dottie," I smiled weakly.

"Dottie is always helping Miss," she giggles.

Just saying, their relationship will be developed A LOT more later on. I'm quickening the sixth year as my story is mainly set after the war. However, I will be writing their seventh year :)
