----------------------------------------------------------------------------Lizzie's POV
I felt my hands tighten into fists, bunching up Josh's jacket in my hands and I was aware of him looking back at me before he shrugged his shoulders.
"Let it go Liz. It's fine" he sighed and I blinked before looking into his calm face. Was he being serious?! Lisa had only broken up with him about ten minutes ago and he was telling me to leave it when she was there, grinding on Jona like nothing had happened! Fucking hell, he really has changed; because the last time his girlfriend did that he ended up with a split lip and bruised ribs. Okay, so they were still together at the time, but that so wasn't the point.
"Are you being serious?" I asked, but I could hear the fury lining my tone as I met his blue eyes and he smiled at me.
"Yes Lizzie. It doesn't bother me nor does it surprise me. Lisa wasn't exactly faithful anyway, according to her previous boyfriend" he sighed and I frowned at him.
"So why were you with her if you knew she hadn't been faithful before?" I asked, loosening my hold on him and sitting on the free stool to my left before picking up my glass and taking a gulp of the fizzy drink. Josh sighed and sat opposite me, but he stalled by taking a gulp of his drink. I smiled at him and lifted my eyebrows which made him sigh.
"She was just there and... look it's complicated" he groaned and I frowned at him but nodded, sensing his distress about the subject.
We sat in silence for a little while, and I wasn't sure if it was comfortable or not but I kept watching Lisa and rolling my eyes when she acted like a whore. If I was anything like her when I'd gotten drunk then holy fuck, was I happy that I'd kicked the habit.
"Come on" I sighed, holding out my hand to Josh. I was fed up of being able to see her dancing. Josh looked at my hand before my face and smiled, taking it in his and helping me slide off my stool before we walked back to our group of friends. I squeezed his hand tightly and he did the same before I let go and grinned before placing my drink down on a free place on the table before skipping over and dropping onto Oli's lap. He groaned under my weight, but his arms wound around my waist instantly which made me laugh.
"I'm not that fat" I huffed, looking into his eyes and they sparkled as he grinned at me.
"Of course you're not" he stated, before pecking my cheek, making me blush at the feel of his lips against my skin. He winked at me and I leaned my side into his body, resting my head on his shoulder which made him kiss my hair and Summer to wink at me when she looked over at us. I rolled my eyes at her and for some reason found myself watching the dance floor to see Lisa walking over to us. I froze, my eyes flicking over to Josh to see that he'd rolled his eyes when he'd spotted her before he caught my gaze and shrugged his shoulders at me.
I bit my lip as I sat upright on Oli's lap and his hand squeezed my waist when he also saw Lisa walking over. Although from the looks of it she looked a little drunk, since she obviously couldn't walk in a straight line.
"I hope you're happy" she slurred, looking at me when she approached. I frowned at her, but guessed that she was somehow referring to her and Josh splitting up. I just shrugged my shoulders at her, not really knowing what to say and was aware of everyone looking between the two of us.
