Note: Okay so I'm doing a long-ish upload, I know I'm earlier than usual but I have a few things I want to state at the end of the upload. So I'm sorry but you will have to read through a long A/N at the end, in the meantime enjoy the upload :)

Oli's POV
To say I felt betrayed was an understatement, but I couldn't find the words to actually describe how I felt after that. I was Lizzie's boyfriend, technically at least, so I expected her father to say that I should go in with her tomorrow. It shocked me when he suggested Josh of all people since it wasn't exactly a secret that he had some sort of anger against my friend, but I do understand why he suggested Adrian and Josh. Just because I understood though, doesn't mean it didn't hurt.
Summer was of course the best contender to be there tomorrow. She is Lizzie's best friend and has been there for her since they were five and met in school. They will share memories that even Lizzie won't have with her parents and so she may be the only person who can reach Lizzie and get some sort of reaction out of her. Besides the two of them are like sisters, and there is nothing as strong as a sibling bond. Sometimes the siblings are even closer than what they are to parents or friends, even if they do fight like cats and dogs and Summer and Lizzie are as close as can be. Family isn't about blood though, it's about loyalty and based purely on that Summer and Lizzie are sisters.
Of course Adrian was a good second choice. He had a strong relationship with Lizzie to the point where they were as close as Summer and Lizzie, but for different reasons. There was also the fact that when Lizzie moved to Leeds after her split with Josh, she formed a bond with Adrian, and only he can relate stories of their time together during that period. No one else knew her at that time and I didn't see her until she had been in Leeds for just over two weeks since she learned that Anna worked with me and she came down to the shop one day. I vaguely recognised her when I first saw her and instantly knew who she was when she told me who she was. I'd been surprised to see her but even after that, we may have become close enough to talk about things but we'd never made any memories of our time together. Of course Adrian was the best person for that, or possibly Anna but that could be discussed when we got back to the Villa.
However the choice of Josh was confusing because her parents basically hated him, although I had no idea if those feelings had changed slightly. They were no longer together anymore, but I had a feeling that if it was based on their love for Lizzie that Summer and Josh would be better choices over all of us- except maybe her parents. Josh had been the first guy to truly win her love and I knew that she would always have a piece of that love with her, no matter who she dated because you didn't forget your first true love so easily. Plus it wasn't a secret that he still loved her just as passionately and deeply as he once did, if not more. Though it hurt to admit that since I was her boyfriend after all. Maybe Josh wasn't such a bad idea after all? I mean they surely made their own memories as a couple even if most of it was spent looking after him as he recovered.
I sighed to myself, realising how loud it sounded in the silent room and ended in myself wincing at the sound. Summer frowned before sending me a half smile and I smiled back at her as I saw Lucy glance at her wrist and sigh as well.
"We need to get going now, visiting times are over in two minutes" she grumbled and I sent her a comforting smile which she responded to. I could see where Lizzie got her looks from; she had her mother's feminine features.
Summer, Dan, Lucy and Nick stood up and after they each said goodbye to Lizzie walked out of the door. I walked over to where she lay and kissed her head.
