Adrian's POV

Lizzie had just walked through the door, holding a handful of bags along with Summer, while Dan rolled his eyes at their backs as he walked in behind them and closed the door shut. I smiled at the three of them and Lizzie grinned excitedly at me as she sent me a wink and disappeared into her room, probably to dispose of her bags, as Summer and Dan sat down at the counter, opposite me. I nodded at them and they nodded back as the door opened again and the rest of the band walked in, along with Oli and the four other members of Bring Me The Horizon. Having them all in the same room reminded me of the night that we went out to the club in the centre of Birmingham. I bit my lip at the thought before I saw Lizzie walk over to everyone and hug them tightly, before she approached Oli and pecked his lips. I felt my body grow warm in jealousy because I wanted her to kiss me like that.

Sighing, I rubbed a hand over my face and got up to make everyone drinks, although I made Lizzie tea, since she hadn't been drinking coffee in the hopes that her herbal tea would help her to get better. It seemed to be working though, so I wasn't complaining because I really did want to go to London and compete, simply because I knew that with Lizzie by my side we would do so much better than I had in previous years. Even just qualifying to the aired television show on the Sky Arts channels would be amazing, I didn't care about winning.

"Did you have fun shopping?" I asked Summer as I sat next to her to drink my coffee while the apartment was full of the hum of people talking to each other. She seemed very quiet, and I was even more surprised to see that Dan was sitting on the couch with Lizzie in between him and Josh as they talked and Lizzie laughed. God that laugh was amazing.

"Yeah it was great" Summer said, although her tone suggested otherwise.

"What's up?" I asked, feeling worried for her since Summer and I had grown close since I moved to Birmingham with Lizzie nearly two months ago. She sighed and I saw her brows knit together in frustration so I twisted my body so that I was facing her fully. She shook her head so I frowned at her, she was similar to Lizzie in the sense that both were reluctant to say what exactly was on their mind. I suppose it was why they got on so well though.

"Nothing it's just that, I'm worried about Liz" she sighed and I bit my lip at her statement.

"Why, what's up with her?" I asked and Summer shifted awkwardly in her seat before she shook her head.

"Something I can't say simply because of the Girl Code" she sighed and I nodded slowly, understanding that she meant Lizzie had told her something in confidence and Summer was respecting her wishes to keep her secret. I frowned, thinking of a way to get around the rules so that I could gather more information. If it was bugging Summer then it had to mean something, because Summer had a thick skin and most things bounced off her.

"Well is Lizzie is trouble?" I asked and Summer bit her lip but shook her head.

"No not exactly. More that I'm worried she will get hurt by what's she's told me, plus it will hurt all of us in a way" she sighed and I frowned at her. What the fuck could she mean by that? It could hurt all of us? What was on Lizzie's mind then? I sighed but nodded slowly, knowing that I couldn't push her because if Lizzie wanted me to know, then she would've told me, so it must be something important for her to not tell me.

"Okay" I nodded, turning back to my drink as Lizzie started laughing and Dan swore. I looked up finding that I couldn't see Dan, while Lizzie was laughing with her head thrown back against the back of the couch and Josh glared down at the floor. I was guessing that Dan was now lying on the floor and Josh was glaring at him, although I noticed the quick flick of his attention to Lizzie before he shifted around and glared back down at Dan.
