"Caroline?"

"Marcel? What are you doing here?"

"Are you kidding? I find you ready to fall to the bed with Klaus Mikaelson and that's all you have to say?"

"I was most certainly not." She denies with persuasion.

"You were not? Call me disappointed." Klaus says as a sarcastic smile is plastered on his absolutely kissable lips. Caroline, what the hell are you thinking? Great, now I'm talking to myself.

"Shut up, Klaus." Marcel yells, as he approaches him to make a point. "Speak again and you're dead" kind of thing. However, in his case, things are not going to be that easy.

"Was that shriek supposed to intimidate me?" Klaus retorts, as he starts to fuel up with fury and arrogance. So like Klaus to make things even worse than they already are. Seriously, just shut up. No one's laughing. Honey, I'm your subconscious. Don't you think you're being a little hard on yourself? Ugh! Meanwhile, on the real world, Klaus and Marcel were about to enter dangerous territory, as Klaus' fists balled up and Marcel's features were indicating that he was up to no good. Before things escalated, Caroline managed to escape the Crazyland and suddenly realized the seriousness of the situation. Good for you, stupid blonde that talks to herself. You're the one talking to me. We're the same you and I, as a friend of mine once said. I wanna punch you. Well, good luck at that. Once again ignoring her own thoughts, Caroline placed her hand in the air and tried to seperate the two very angry, but very handsome men that were about to tear each other apart. Peacemaker of 2021 for the win.

"Easy there, boys. Try not be such Neanderthals, okay?" Every sense of logic was thrown out of the window, when Klaus' fist flew with great speed towards Marcel's face. Caroline barely managed to catch a glimpse of the punch, before she came face to face with Klaus. His hand barely managed to stop, before hitting Caroline's face.

"What the hell are you doing? I could have hit you." His words were intense, but in his eyes she only saw worry about her.

"It was the only way to stop you." Caroline said, for the first time in a while, being truthful with him. His eyes remain glued to hers, as if searching for the truth. After a while, his gaze turned away from her, taking a step back, as he realized that Caroline really meant what she said. But the question was whether she stopped him to protect him or Marcel. The question was too complicated to comprehend at the time. Without saying another word, Klaus stormed out of there, like somebody was hunting him down. Caroline, then turned to Marcel, who was grinning from ear to ear.

"Wasn't I the perfect jealous boyfriend?"

"Yeah, Marcel. In fact, maybe you were too good of an actor."

"Well, I always want to be the best. Go big or go home, right?" Caroline looked at him with a blank expression, as if trying to understand what was going on in his mind. I know! Maybe he has a concussion. He's a vampire. Then, he's just an ass.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" Her voice has hit new levels of hysteria and all thanks to a very rageous hybrid and a very stupid vampire. And you wonder why your life is a mess. Dear inner Caroline... Stop talking! Then who is going to talk to you? You'll be all lonely. I don't want that kind of misery for you. Or me. Caroline pushes him with rage, as she says so, angry at the entire situation.

"What? Did I do something that I shouldn't?"

"Something? If I didn't stop him, you would be in pieces right now."

"Come on, Care. Don't be so melodramatic."

"I'm serious. What the hell were you thinking?"

"Honestly... I never think before I do something."

"It shows."

"Seriously, I just did what we had agreed."

"Don't you think you went a little overboard on the whole jealousy thing?"

"I always say my best work is done improvising."

"Okay, improvisation's over for you."

"Meaning?" He's not exactly sharp.

"Meaning..." She pretends to ponder a minute on the thought, even though her mind is made up. "I'm breaking up with you."

"What? You can't do that. The relationship is fake."

"Even better. You'll get over me much quickly, don't worry." Caroline says getting out of there, because she really needs a minute to breathe and let go of the chaos. But the chaos follows her. Marcel runs after her, trying to catch up with her. He efficiently does so, as Caroline turns at a corner. However, for her bad luck, on the other side of the corner, both of them smash onto a familious figure of a blonde vampire. Original even. Great. Another one. They just keep showing up, don't they?

"Rebekah?" Marcel and Caroline say at the same time.

"Caroline." The original vampire acknowledges her presence, but Caroline isn't fully okay with what is going on.

"Rebekah?"

"You already said that." Rebekah states with a grin.

"Which shows how shocked I am." Caroline replies.

"What are you doing here, Rebekah? Following me, perhaps?"

"Get over yourself, Marcel. Not everything in the world revolves around you, egomaniac."

"Maybe not, but I'm pretty sure I'm the center of your world." Marcel coys full of arrogance, at which she scoffs.

"Sorry to interrupt your bickering, but Rebekah, seriously. Why are you here?"

"That's for me to know and for you to... Dot. Dot. Dot."

"Rebekah Mikaelson. Always so jealous of me. Now you're even using my words." Katherine joins in the bickering conversation. Rebekah glares at her throwing daggers at her in her mind.

"You wish."

"Not really. I don't enjoy being copied." Everyone turns to look at Rebekah, when her growl makes extremely apparent that she is one minute from shredding to pieces Katherine Pierce. Under different circumstances, Caroline wouldn't object, but now things are different. If someone told her a month ago, that she would be protecting Katherine, the woman that intruded in their lives and killed her, she would call them crazy. Guess life works in mysterious ways.

Rebekah smashes Katherine's body to the wall, strangling her neck with her own hands, which she very much enjoys. Katherine tries to push her off, but Rebekah, being much older than her, is obviously stronger. Caroline looks at Marcel knowingly and she nudges him with her eyes. Marcel, understanding what she wants and using all the power he has in him, knocks Katherine out of the way. His hand wraps around her neck, thrusting her to the wall, but soon the situation is reversed, as Rebekah easily spins him around, being now in control. Her left hand curls tightly around his neck, while her free hand is nearing his fast beating heart.

"What are you waiting for, Bekah? Do it. Just fucking do it!" Marcel screams in her face to kill him then and there, as Rebekah is bent on taking this as far as it gets. Even if that means killing her once soulmate.

Sorry for being gone. Once again! But I'm lazy. And lacking inspiration. I had basically given up on this story, when an idea came to me and decided to work on it and that's what I'm doing right now. I also made a New Year's resolution to write everyday or at least every other day and so far I've kept that promise.

This chapter is also smaller than usually, but some interesting things happen, so it's not too bad. Get ready for more amazing fights coming up!

As always, if you enjoyed the chapter, vote and comment your opinion on it. Give me the nasty! I need it!

See ya. I don't dare say soon, because I'll probably not keep that promise. Xo xo. Gossip girl. You know I love you.
