New chapter in and an eventful one if you ask me. Enjoy Klaus and Rebekah finding out the truth and how they will respond to it.

Klaus led Rebekah all the way back to the hotel. He practically dragged her along, but after a while Rebekah got angry at his behavior and lack of talking. Rebekah shut the door to Klaus' room and sensed that he had something to tell her.

"Klaus, just say it." Rebekah asked him, tired of the silence.

"Say what?"

"Whatever was the reason you wanted to leave the bar and drag me along with you."

"Well, sister, as you saw, I was close to Marcel and Caroline's booth and overheard part of their conversation." Klaus explained.

"Eavesdropped, but go on." She cut him off with an ironic remark.

"Tomato, tomato. The point is I learned something significant, which just so happens to interest you." He adds catching her attention at last.

"Will you finally tell me?" She ends up asking impatiently.

"Fine, since you begged me. So, hear this, sister. You know how Marcel and Caroline are together?"

"I'm still trying to forget actually." She says with sadness.

"No need, since it's all a sham." He drops the bomb at her out of nowhere and Rebekah pretends that she doesn't understand, because she doesn't want to get her hopes up.

"What are you talking about? They even admitted it. You heard them."

"Apparently, Caroline enlisted Marcel's help and asked him to lie. For personal reasons. But what matters is you don't have to worry anymore whether another blonde has stolen your man." Klaus announces exhilarated to find out the truth.

"Klaus, you know Marcel and I are not a thing." She states with a blank expression on her face. She may act nonchalant now, but the truth is she never really unfell out of love with him. It nearly broke her heart, when they were seperated. She wouldn't be able to survive a second break-up. Maybe this time a permanent one.

"So, you're okay with him dating other girls?" He teases with a knowing look, knowing very well how jealous Rebekah can get. She is not one to share.

"That's not what I said."

"Fine, Rebekah, whatever you say. Happy now?"

"Oh, please, you can't possibly be so ecstatic just for me."

"What other reason do I have, dear sister?" He asked, feigning cluelessness, but she knew better.

"I don't know, maybe the fact that you won't have reasons to be jealous any longer."

"You're offending me. When was I ever jealous?" He put his hand above his heart in a theatrical manner.

"Klaus, you may be able to fool everyone else, maybe even Caroline, but not me. I know you better than anyone and I know for a fact that you must have felt like throwing up just at the thought of Caroline kissing a man that's not you." She grinned as she watched her brother get fueled with emotions he didn't know he was capable of.

"Am I so transparent?" He said trying to be sarcastic, but Rebekah ignored his tone and answered him directly.

"When it comes to Caroline Forbes, yes, brother, I'm afraid you are." Her lips turned upwards forming an amused smirk, enjoying her brother's discomfort.

"Oh, Rebekah, you know me so well. Whatever. I'm more interested in how I'm going to exploit that little information and less on what you think about me and Caroline."
