She had ebony black hair, a wavy cascade tied high up in a ponytail. Her clothes looked dirty, from the labor or lack of clean laundry they couldn't tell, and seemed to hang off of her. But the most startling to them all came when she turned around.
She was young, almost as young as them.
"Oh! I'm sorry, I'll be done in a few if you need the bathroom." Her voice was soft and airy, but she spoke quickly, like a leaf caught in wind.
"No, no, its ok, we just.." Sam trailed off, she couldn't get over how the girl looked, like she was unsettlingly pretty.
Luckily Danny knew where to pick up. "We, uh, we heard you singing and-"
The girl started to blush furiously. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be so loud, I thought I was alone. I can stop if-"
All three shouted began to protest to various degrees within seconds, quieting when Danny continued on.
"Really, it's ok, you can keep singing. I mean, your voice is beautiful."
The girl somehow turned a deeper shade of red and began fidgiting with her hair, her voice ever softer. "Thank you."
They all stood in awkward silence, unsure of what to do, when Sam stepped closer and held out her hand.
"My name's Sam, this is Danny and Tucker."
The girl smiled, "I'm Eldra."
