Eldra came to the Manson residence at 9am sharp, using her key that Pam had given her a month ago. She dragged her supplies up the grand staircase, groaning internally. Fridays were bedroom cleaning, and Eldra hated all the beds with 15 pillows and 4 sets of sheets she had to change. She walked to the first room of the wing and got started.
It was 2pm by the time Eldra got to the last two rooms of the wing, a guest and Sam's. She knew Sam hated having people in her room without her there, so she got started on the guest room, hoping that Sam came home soon so she could finish. However, no such luck as by 2:45 she was done and Sam and still not home. Eldra yawned and looked at the pile of sheets she left by the closet to take down to the laundry room.
Maybe a quick nap She thought as she curled up on the pile. It was the comfiest pile she had ever slept on, and within minutes she was out cold.
"Eldra?" She woke up to Sam shaking her shoulder.
"Oh my god!" She jumped up, startling the goth. "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to-"
"Hey hey calm down, its ok," Sam chuckled, "didn't sleep much last night I'm guessing?"
Eldra nodded weakly, gathering the pile in her hands. "I'll come back up and do your room, then I'm done for the day. Maybe I can ask to leave early so I can get some more sleep"
Sam hesitated before calling out to her friend, "if you want, you can crash here. We got tons of rooms."
Eldra paused, but shook her head. "Maybe another day, I need to be home today."
"Well the offer still stands," Sam rushed, "if you ever want to just get away from home or something. Doesnt matter what time or day, I'll let you in, ok?"
"Thank you" she smiled, and with that she carried the pile down the stairs and out of sight.
