CHAPTER 17

PHOENIX

We all clapped and some shouted in glee when the newlywed kissed.

We're now here in the reception of my friend's wedding. I couldn't help but to smile as I watch Zacharry acts so clingy in her wife's side. He is indeed whipped.

"Look at our friend, baby lion.. kala mo iiwan sya ni Falini." Theo spoke on my side as we all ogle our friend.

"Hindi nga mai-alis ang kamay sa bewang ng asawa." Ziv laughed. "He's so adorable. Ang sarap ibitin patiwarik."

I smirked. "You're just bitter. Sya kasal na. Ikaw hindi parin sinasagot. Wait.. baka ikaw lang may alam na nanliligaw ka?"

I suppressed a laugh when he darted me a glare. Halatang masama ang loob ng loko.

"Really man?" Zavric intruded. "Weak."

Ziv sighed. "Tang-ina kayo. Nambubwisit nanaman kayo."

We all laughed at him. He is in his unusual side. And only Light can bring up this side of him. That woman is really something. And when you met her cold stares.. damn you'll have goosebumps.

I cant believe our friend fell for her. Well.. she's indeed beautiful. But behind that angelic face.. she seems remarkable.. that look of who's capable of anything.

"How about you Zavric." Zochorro appeared out of nowhere. "What's the real score between you and that gorgeous professor? Huh?" He teased.

I glanced at Zavric. I cant believe he is blushing. "The fuck man? Did you just blushed?"

He shook his head and smiled. "Dont be so nosy dimwits.. i am rocking everything. I know she likes me. Well.. maybe soon."

"Woah. Woah. Woah.. here comes the turnado.." I teased. "Sigurado ka bang alam nya na gusto ka nya? Or you're just saving your ass from embarrassment?"

"Ooh.. you savage prick." Theo laugh and so as the others. Zavric just chuckled and showed me his middle finger.

"Damn you, prince of Korea." Ziv fired back. "You are doing good on dissing us. Palibhasa ikakasal ka na."

I poked my tongue inside of me cheek. "Yeah.. flower boy ka actually."

His brows shot up and then he winked at me. "Oh sure prince of Korea. Or maybe ako nalang ang sisigaw na 'itigil ang kasal!' 'Akin si Phoenix! Walang sayo!'." He grins. "You like that my prince?"

I rolled my eyes in disgust. How i hate that title. "Cut the crap Ziv. Stop using that word. It's freaking the shit of me. And no. You're nit gonna ruin my wedding. Wag ka nalang magpakita saking hayop ka."

They all laughed at my remark. This is normal to us. Acting like we are disgusted by each other but the real thing is completely the opposite of it. We're brothers.

"Teka nga.. Bakit parang may napapansin ako sayo Phoenix.." Zavric spoke. "Man are you possessed?"

Lahat sila ay napatingin saakin. "The hell are you talking about Zavric? That's plain stupid man. Get rid of the stares assholes."

"See ugly shits! Look! Wala ba kayong napapansin?"

And as if on cue they all shared a look. Kasabay ng pag angat ng gilid ng labi nila. They chuckled and beamed at each other.

"Seriously? You all look annoying."

"Man.. what happened to the silent Phoenix we've known for years? You are too lazy to talk for you to join our conversations before.." Zavric shook his head. "But look at you now. Ang sipag mo yata mag salita ngayon?"
