CHAPTER 23

"Hi.." bati nya sa secretary ni Phoenix nang makita ito sa table nito.

Nag-angat ito ng tingin sakanya saka dali-daling tumayo at nag bow sakanya. "Good morning mrs. Michelin."

She smiled. "Good morning.. where's your boss?"

"Oh.., he's currently on a video conference with the company branch in France maam."

Napatango sya. "When will the meeting end?"

Napakamot ito sa ulo. "It'll be done in any minute madam. Oh—" Riva gestured the office. "Let's get you rested while waiting madam. Shall we go inside?"

Ngumiti nalang sya at tumango bago pumasok sa loob ng opisina ng asawa. Dahan-dahan syang umupo dahil sa medyo malaki na nyang tyan.

"Do you want anything maam?" Tanong nito.

She caressed her baby bump and nodded. "Kindly give me strawberries and chocolate cake please.."

Ngumiti ito sakanya at yumukod bago lumabas ng opisina.

She sighed and rested her head on the sofa. She is so tired from walking. It's quite surprising dahil ngayong five months na syang buntis ay ang laki na ng tyan nya.. but no wonder..

They're are having a triplets anyways..

They found it out when they came back in London and go for her monthly check up in her ob-gyne.

And they were surprised. She's so happy that she'll be having three babies in a single pregnancy.

No wonder why her tummy is bigger than what she expected. And it's giving her back cramps. But it's fine.. she's happy that she has three angels in her bump.

It's been a month since they came back in London. Things are a bit tight these days because of her pregnancy.. but thankfully she has her husband on her side.

She was gobbling the cake when the door open. And it's her husband who arrived.

Bahagya pa itong nagulat sa presensya nya pagkakwan ay tipid na ngumiti sakanya at umupo sa tabi nya.

"How's my wife doing?"

She smiled and pointed the foods. "Eating.."

Tumango ito at saka hinaplos ang tyan. "And this fellas? Giving you back cramps again?"

"Sobra.. tatlong bata ba naman yan." Natatawa nyang bigkas.

He chuckled and crouched to reach her tummy. At umaktong kinakausap ang mga anak doon.
"How are my babies? Hope you won't hurt each other there. Don't give nanay a hard time also. Be good, yeah?" At saka nito hinalikan ang tyan nya.

Napangiti nalang sya nang bigla itong humiga at ginawang unan ang binti nya. Nakaharap ito sya tyan nya at hinahaplos iyon.

"Tired from work?"

He grunted. "Yeah.. thankfully you came."

"Ofcourse.." she started brushing his hair. "I know you've been working your ass again as if you don't know the word 'stop'. Kaya hindi kita kayang hayaan dito sa office mo eh."

He chuckled and met her gazes. "You know i need to work harder. We're having three babies."

"Tch.. ayan ka nanaman. Alam ko yang iniisip mo. Phoenix.. I don't want you to spoil them okay? Tama na yung sakto lang. Ayokong masanay sila na nakukuha lahat ng gusto nila."

"Why? If we can give anything they want.., then why not?"

Agad sumama ang timpla nya. "Phoenix.."
