CHAPTER 21

"Michin, What's taking you so long? Open up the door." Pag tawag nya dito mula sa labas ng kwarto.

"Oo teka lang! Malapit na matapos! As in, salt!"

He frowned. "As in, what?"

Narinig nyang tumawa ito sa loob. "Secret walang clue! Mabaliw ka kakaisip!"

He frowned even more and think about what she said. And it took him a while to finally get what she meant.

As in. Like asin in tagalog, salt in english.

Napa buntong hininga nalang sya at napailing. His wife is really crazy.

His wife.. ooh fuck. That's a music to his ears.

He poked his tongue inside of his cheek to restrain himself from smiling. Oh God. He can't believe na kinikilig sya sa isiping iyon.

They woke up early and planned do some morning activities. It's his wife's morning sickness that woke both of them.

Hindi na daw ito makakatulog kaya sinuggest nito na abangan ang sunrise at mag swimming pagkatapos. They planned to be spontaneous today. As per his wife's decision.

It's been a day since the last time they came to be open to each other.

It's making him happy because they became more comfortable to each other. They started telling each other's plan, some humorous stories, embarrassing stories, goals and some random things.

Conversation after conversations. And it makes him feel good about it. All his life, he didn't imagine himself talking so much or even having a deep talks with someone.

His monster self wont let him reveal his true feelings. Hiding anything and keeping all his thoughts all to himself.

But that was before.

The monster was now tamed.

Ofcourse, Even the worst person can be lured if the person was amenable to discover what's the entity of it.

If that person is courageous enough to embrace the monster till it became at home with strange good feelings.

Conversing pull the both of them, closer. It did binds them little by little.

And as time moves it's hands. He came to know more of her. She just love talking and that makes sense why she always do fire questions and ofcourse he answers.

Before, He is the type of a person who can stand a day without even saying a word, who doesn't mind at all. He doesn't care and he doesn't pays attention. But now, all is different.

Sa daldal ng asawa nya. Hindi pwedeng hindi sya mag salita. Sa mga kapilyahan nito, kailangan nyang bantayan lagi.

And he likes it. Realizations comes clean to him with..

..We have to be with the person who brings the best side of you. Be with the one who puts an effort making you do surprising things, you never thought you could do.

Who puts genuine smile on your face. The one who naturally cares for you. And that's his wife.

He is indeed so lucky.

He sighed and shifted in his seat. Nakatingin sya sa labas ng bintana nang marinig nyang bumukas ang pinto.

"Im done!" Masiglang sigaw nito.

He literally stopped from breathing the moment  he saw her. His eyes automatically darted to what she's wearing.

Umikot pa ito at saka nag pose sa harap nya. "Ang ganda diba?"
