Aubrey's Point of View:

"If you're gonna sulk, you might as well do it somewhere where you're by yourself." Nate said while walking into the suite's living room with a book in hand.

"I'm not sulking." I replied. Feeling slightly offended as I glanced up from my book to look at him.

"And anyways I was in here by myself before you came in." I continued while glaring up at him from my book.

He smirked and looked down at me and then back at the book which he was holding. He walked closer until he was standing in front of the coffee table which my legs were resting on. I waited for him to speak, but he didn't say anything for about a minute which began to bother me. He was just staring at me as if he was waiting for me to do something. I'm just reading.

"Why do you seem upset?" Nate asked, breaking the silence whilst staring over me.

There he goes again. Doing that irritating thing where he thinks he knows how I feel. I'm not upset, I'm just tired, and I'm still scared about what happened yesterday. I just want to be alone and I don't feel like being interrogated right now.

"Why do you do that?" I couldn't help but blurt out, a hint of annoyance present in my voice.

He furrowed his brows.

"I do a lot of things." He replied while I shook my head and rolled my eyes. I stood up from off of the couch. "Which are you referring to-" He trailed off while watching me walk away over to my bedroom. He followed me. I swallowed, feeling rather anxious about that.

"Like- you already know what I'm thinking. How do you do that?" I asked while I sat on my bed and looked up at him. He closed the door behind him and turned to face me with a full grin.

"I'm psychic." He whispered with a growing smirk, widening his sharp blue eyes as I rolled my eyes out of irritation.

"No seriously." I said as he narrowed his eyes down at me and smirked more. "You can get whatever you want, and like trick people in doing so. You know everyone's next move and-" I word vomited while he tossed his head back and laughed, causing my cheeks to burn.

He brought the back of his hand up to my burning cheek and stroked it softly while laughing. His cold rings were soothing to my red hot cheek, but I swatted it away nonetheless.

He licked his lips swiftly and the smirk returned.

"Wow." He said. "I'm so flattered Aubrey. Anymore compliments you wanna spit out?" He asked while cocking his head to the side and raising his brows. I rolled my eyes.

"I'm being serious." I said as he sat on the bed in front of me.

I was sitting straight up against the headboard, my legs stretched out on the soft cool comforter beneath me. Nate had moved my legs to the side, and sat where my knees would've been. He then took my legs and draped them over his lap while he placed his hands behind him against the mattress so that he was able to sit up straight.
