Hey guys!

This is an interesting one, so I hope you like the chapter :)

If there are any Tahlia lovers out there... I'm sorry.😭😭

Aubrey's Point of View:

"Fine I'm out of here!" Tahlia snapped, her long braids swinging across her back.

"Thank god..." Nate muttered under his breath as I spun to look at him in slight shock.

He shrugged his shoulders innocently, shooting me a look.

"Tahlia..." Dean groaned while following her, walking past the open kitchen to get to her.

"God." I winced as I kept the ice pack on my cheek.

"I'm getting all my things and I'm done." Tahlia yelled back at Dean from a distance.

Now, we couldn't see them.

"So..." Nate began, licking his lips quickly as he leaned forwards, elbows digging into his knees.

I know that he's going to tease me about my "vicious" fight with Tahlia after I've told him countless times that I hate violence... and I still stand by that statement. However I guess today I just... snapped. I hated fighting with Tahlia, like I mean I absolutely loathed every single second of it, but I couldn't just stand there and let her rip me apart. I had to stick up for myself, and I did exactly that.

My heart just aches over the loss of my once best friend.

I shifted the ice pack from my cheek to my jaw, wincing at the movement. "Don't even start, it wasn't my best moment."

Nate's smirk grew and I shook my head slowly.

"You slapped her in the face, and then proceeded to wrestle her to the ground." Nate continued, informing me on what I had done.

"Your point being?" I asked, feeling so annoyed.

"You fought somebody." He whispered with a proud smile as he hit my knee with a closed fist softly.

He was impressed of me for getting into a fight.

Should I expect anything else though?

I had gotten furious at him for fighting Kyle, but now he's proud that I fought Tahlia? We're such different people and it's kind of hilarious. Like I was practically fuming at him for having punched my ex and then for having climbed across a diner table where the two of them proceeded to rip each other apart, but I get into a fight in front of multiple people on a crowded sidewalk with my now ex best friend, and he's proud about it?

Yep, definitely very different people.

I released a slow irritated breath, hating the cocky yet proud grin on his pink lips. "Look," I started, feeling my face grow warm. "I'm sorry for getting pissed at you- ah-" I continued before cutting myself off once I felt a jolt of pain on my cheek.

I swallowed before continuing, looking up at him with wide eyes.

"But- but to be fair, I had every right to." I finished as he grinned and tilted his head to the side.

"Fair enough. And I'm sorry for fighting blondie again..." He started. "But then again..." He continued, wavering with a smile.

I shook my head.

"I know I know." I said while nodding my head. "And now the whole world knows..." I continued, beginning to get more and more anxious.

"Hey, don't worry about that." He said cutting me off, placing a hand on my knee softly.
