Aubrey's Point of View:
Another day, another show.
I've been avoiding Nate at all costs, like I always do. But especially this time because of the "milkshake incident".
I just can't understand why he acts the way he does. His quote on quote plan all along wasn't to just walk around in California with me and have a fun day. His plan was to try an humiliate me in any way possible. And he did so successfully.
I had taken a random bus back to the hotel, successfully dodging Nate's beckoning calls. I sat on said bus, covered in cold sticky ice cream. The thing is, had this happened in the city I wouldn't have gotten any glares. People in the city see things like this everyday, a girl being covered in milkshakes? People wouldn't even give it a second glance. The things that I've seen in the city are... well some things are disturbing.
However, I guess LA is different? I had always heard the people here are judgemental, like how people say people from the city are mean... but ouch. Everyone was staring at me on the bus, giving me up and down looks judging me while whispering to others. I ignored it and just sat on the bus, gritting my teeth.
Once I got back to the hotel, I headed straight for the shower. After that I then went to my room and did some school work.
Luckily I'm doing quite well considering that I'm doing my classes and work from California. I still don't even know how anything was set up. The guys just told me they took care of it, and when I had to leave my professors had everything set up for me. It's so weird.
I get a schedule, and all my assignments are due at a certain time. Usually I get two weeks to finish a list of assignments for each class, and then I'll turn them in through this website we use for school. And then, I'll face time or zoom my professors for like 30 minutes a day just to review or for them to try and explain to me anything I don't understand.
The good thing is, I usually finish all my work within in one day.
I'm currently in the dressing room now trying to forget the events of earlier today. I'm standing in front of the mirror studying my outfit. I'm wearing like bootcut low waisted jeans, and a tank top that says Bloodline on it, in a wacky font. The tank top is white, and it's cropped. It says Bloodline in big red letters, and has a few rips in it. It fits me perfectly, but it's meant to fit tight... which it does.
Brendan got it for me and told me I should wear it tonight. As much as I'd prefer not to... it's kinda cute. It reminds me of a top from the early 2000's.
I straightened my hair also and put it up with a claw clip, leaving my curtain bangs down. I put on some makeup also to try and blend in with the crowd. I feel like I look weird, and I might just change.
I bit my bottom lip while staring in the mirror at myself. I leaned over the sink to look closer at my appearance.
I felt a hand on my waist and shook my head with gritted teeth. I looked back up in the mirror and saw Nate standing behind me, watching my irritated expression grow in the mirror.
"Get your hand off of me." I huffed, trying to squirm out of Nate's grip.
Instead he lifted me up and sat me on the counter. I've been in this position before, not doing it again.
"How's your dress?" he asked placing his hands on my knees moving them slowly up to my thighs which made my breath hitch.
"Get away from me." I said through gritted teeth as he kept his strong hands on my denim covered thighs. "I hate you." I added, trying to jump off of the counter.
