Hey!
This one's pretty long, hope you guys like it!

Aubrey's Point of View:

Once I had walked back outside, I walked over to where the guys were.

"You're back." Nate said eyeing me as I walked over.

He was sitting on a lounge chair, still ridiculously clad in soaking wet jeans and boots. Yes he was shirtless as was beginning to tan. Water droplets continued to fall from his dark hair and onto his chest and shoulders. His sunglasses were pushed up onto his hair so that I was fortunate enough to be blessed with his gorgeous baby blues.

God dammit Aubrey.

"You braided your hair." he pointed out while staring up at me from his relaxed position.

"Yeah." I said feeling dumber than ever while looking down at my wet converse.

"It's a mess."

"Thanks." I said sarcastically. Squinting because of the sun. "I did it with one hand."

He licked his pink lips before smirking softly.

"Sit down." he said while patting his lap.

My cheeks flamed at his gesture, and I sort of froze where I was standing instead of sitting down on the chair next to him. He thinks I'm going to sit on his lap? No... no way.

"Why?"

"I'll fix it." he said while looking up at me and adjusting his glasses.

"You can braid hair?" I asked.

"Yes."

"He can." Jackson reassured me as I turned to look at him. "Brendan taught him." Jackson added from where he was sitting. He was laying back in a lounge chair, and a lollipop rested between his lips.

Okay

1. Why would Brendan teach him?

2. I don't want him braiding my hair, period.

"I don't want you to fix it." I said shaking my head, and while I was talking Nate grabbed me by my waist and pulled me back so I was sitting on his lap.

Oh hell no.

I immediately scrambled out of Nate's lap, my heart pounding as I spun to face him with a rather flustered expression. I hastily wiped some pieces of loose hair behind my ears and looked down at him with flushed cheeks and narrowed eyes.

"It's only because my sisters made me learn." Brendan said while sitting on the chair next to me.

I sat down on the lounge chair next to Brendan, and Nate shot me almost an offended look. I swallowed the far too familiar lump in my throat and looked down before looking back up at Brendan who had a beer bottle pressed to his lips.

"You have sisters?" I asked.

"Yeah, twins." Brendan replied. I raised my eyebrows in surprise, but I couldn't even focus too much on the conversation because Nate had gotten up and was knelt behind me, trying to take the braid out of my hair.

God he never gives up.

"I'm surprised."

"Why?" Brendan asked with a smile before bringing to bottle back to his lips again.

"I just didn't think you had any siblings." I told him while I felt Nate take out the ponytail that secured my braid.

I'm about to snap.

"I don't want you to braid-" I started while turning around to see how focused he was.

"Why are you doing this?" I asked Nate turning around fully so that I could see his full face.
