Aubrey's Point of View:
Today is the day of Nate's family party thing and everything is so weird for Tahlia and I. We're going to world wide known punk rock singers Nate DeRosé's family party.
Like what is happening.
For Tahlia it's more so that it's the famous "Nate DeRosé" heart throb known by all, gorgeous singer in the most famous punk rock band. It's like that for me also. I mean it's very overwhelming, but that's not what freaks me out as much. For me it's more so... well he despises me. He's threatened to kill me, and I absolutely hate him as well.
What I didn't know, was that we even had to get styled by the bands stylists. I was unaware that this was such a big deal, because it's only a family party.
Tahlia was in a frenzy, in her fangirl celebrity excitement mode. The whole time a grin was slapped on her face. She was dressed in a short long sleeved yellow dress. She also was sporting white pumps, and a light blue peacoat. It was very unlike her style, but she made do with it, and even wore a hard white headband that pulled back some of her thick curls.
Meanwhile, nerves flooded my body the entire time. I glanced over at Tahlia who raised her brows and was grinning ear to ear. Some girl was putting blush on her and Tahlia was beyond excited. I looked forwards at the mirror I was sitting in front of. A girl behind me had straightened my hair for me. I was styled in a long light blue dress with some white pumps as well. I was given a white peacoat, and for some reason felt like I was going to the white house.
When my makeup was finished as well, the girl who's name I've figured out to be Samantha, pulled my hair into a low ponytail. I thanked her for not saying anything about the scar on my cheek and hopped out of the chair walking over to where Tahlia was.
"You look gorgeous!" she squealed as she grabbed hold of my forearms.
"Thank you, you do too!" I told her with a soft smile as her eyes drifted to behind me. An even bigger smile broke out on her face if possible. I slowly turned to see Nate was standing there.
"Ready?" he asked, arching a dark brow.
I nodded softly, and we followed him out of the room.
Once we got outside, the cold air hit against our faces. I felt my own cheeks flush at the coldness of the weather, considering it's November in New York and I'm wearing a dress. I'm thankful that my dress is long though, and that I have a warm peacoat to go with it. Unlike poor Tahlia who's wearing a dress that goes to her mid thigh. She's smiling giddily, even though she's in discomfort. She's just so happy.
We walked up to the large black limo, and Nate opened the door. Revealing the rest of the guys who were in the middle of drinking out of these fancy champagne cups. Nate held the door for us, while Tahlia and I slid in, before shutting the door and getting in himself. I sat in the corner, Brendan to my left and Tahlia across from me. Tahlia was sitting next to Dean, on the right of Dean was Jackson. And on the other side of Brendan was Nate.
Nate shook his wrist while leaning back into the seat. He leaned forwards a bit, and took out a lighter. He placed the cancer stick between his lips and lit it. He then relaxed as he exhaled some smoke, and manspread back against the seat. My nose scrunched for a second when I inhaled some of the smoke.
