HEY GUYSSSS
I hope you like this one!
Aubrey's Point of View:
Shouts, cries, and banging were what filled my ears as I stood in the hotel lobby with Nate, Brendan, Jackson, and Dean.
We're staying in a hotel in Paris now for the next few nights. I'm so excited, I've never been to Paris and it's always been a big dream of mine.
I loved staying at Nate's grandparents for the time being, and being able to see where Nate got to grow up. Meme and Papa are the sweetest humans ever and I feel so grateful to them for the time I got to be with them over the past few days. I got to learn more about Nate, and I got to hear some wonderful stories about Meme and Papa's lives. Everything was so interesting, and I couldn't get enough.
Something that I like about Nate is that he's humble. I know in many cases he's been cocky, but I feel like he's always been pretty humble in regard to where he came from. He doesn't brag about his riches, and he doesn't forget where he came from. He still treats his grandparents with so much love and respect, and you can just tell how grateful he is to have them in his life.
I wish I would've been able to meet his mother. Just by how highly he talks about her, I'm sure she was a wonderful woman.
Nate turned around to look at me and gave me a soft smile. Once he had turned around, the fans outside must've caught a glimpse of his face because the shrieks erupted like never before. I resisted the urge to cover my ears with my hands because I didn't want to come off as rude, but in actuality, it felt like blood was about to begin gushing out of my ears. Glancing over at Jackson, he was squeezing his eyes shut tightly, looking like the screams were paining him as well.
I should probably be used to it by now, but I'm not. It's also funny to see that Jackson isn't used to it, I mean, can you even ever get used to something like that? It's still unimaginable to think that I'm friends with the most famous rock band members in the world and that I'm dating the lead singer.
I don't know how I got here.
"Bonjour..." Nate started speaking in French to the people at the counter.
"Hey Aubrey, want to balance poker chips on our noses?" Jackson asked as I raised my brows.
Just so random.
I shrugged my bag off my shoulder. "Sure."
"Bet." He replied, pink lips curling up into a smile.
"Here my lady." He said while curtseying which caused me to laugh. He held out a singular flat poker chip in his hand.
I scrunched up my nose lightly and grinned while tilting my head back and placing the chip on my nose. I held my hand on top of it so that it wouldn't fall, waiting for him to make the call.
"Where'd you get this from?" I asked while holding it on the top of my nose.
"Stole 'em," He replied which made me laugh softly.
"Kay, ready?" Jackson questioned as I replied with a "Yep,"
"3, 2, 1," Jackson said as I removed my hand from the poker chip and stared up, praying and hoping that it wouldn't slide off of my nose any moment.
After five seconds I heard the sound of a poker chip colliding with the floor and a disgruntled "Dude!"
I took the chip off of my nose and furrowed my brows looking to see that Brendan had flicked the chip off of Jackson's nose. Jackson looked very irritated which caused me to laugh lightly. He turned to look at me, glaring playfully before shaking his head with a smile.
