Waking up to a loud knock on her door was not what Melissa wanted to wake up to. She stumbled out of the bed and made her way downstairs as she would rather be back in bed. "Stop knocking!" She tells the person as she unlocked her door just to see Elena. "What?"

"I need you to come with me to the Salvatore's."

"Why?"

"We're turning ourselves in."

Melissa sighed as she looked at Elena. "You do know that I have studying on this moonstone to do."

"Please."

Rolling her eyes, Melissa went upstairs as Elena walked in. The blonde was not too happy about this at all. She walked downstairs with her book in hand she looked at Elena. "Let's get this over with."

Melissa sat in listened to Elena talk to Rose. She could careless about this as it wasn't her life in danger. "Melissa?"

"I'm staying out of it." She responds. "I rather be reading more on this curse instead." The blonde looked up at the two. "I'm not the one in danger and I will keep my mind on this curse."

"Are you not worried about Sylvester finding you?" Elena asked.

"I'm not scared of him or anyone. If my life is to be his mate, than so be it." Melissa said. "I'm not doing nothing to harm myself, plus this plan will fail."

Elena wondered why she would say that. Melissa walked out of the boarding house making Elena look at Rose. "She has a point. This plan will fail, but I don't know what will happen if Melissa was put in danger."

Elena sighed, but she had to do this so Klaus wouldn't kill those she loved. Melissa sat outside knowing she was using Rose and the blonde hated it. She continued to read more on it before she felt a stab making her collapse.

Rose sighed as she placed Melissa in the car and sighed as she made the deal, but Melissa knew this was going to fail.

The blonde woke up to see she was at another place. "Elena." She mumbled as she walked in. "Elena? Rose?" She called out as she walked upstairs.

She saw a door open and walked in till she heard a noise and walked over to the set of doors in the room. "Melissa." Rose said as Melissa opened the doors. Rose looked in and saw someone. "Alice?"

Melissa heard that Slater was dead and looked at Elena. "Well, I'm going to continue the search." The blonde said as she sat down and started to read. Something was telling her that Elijah knows more about the sacrifice. She heard Elena tell Alice that Rose will turn her. "What?" Melissa walked over to Elena and looked at her. "Seriously?"

"Melissa, we have to do this."

Melissa stood by as Rose was told Elena that Alice will not touch her blood. She heard Alice found the contacts making Melissa sigh. "Tell them that the doppelgänger is alive and is willing to turn herself in."

"What?" Rose and Melissa said.

"Also tell them to tell Sylvester that his mate is alive and is with the doppelgänger."

Melissa couldn't believe what she was doing. Rose looked at Melissa. "I will keep you safe Melissa."

"Okay." Melissa replies. "Call Damon."

Rose nodded and walked off as she called Damon. Melissa was reading when Damon arrived. Elena was talking causing Melissa to walk out. "Damon." She replies with a smile.

"We're leaving."

"Gladly." Melissa said as she walked over to him and looked at Elena. "I told Rose to call him."

Elena glared at the blonde. She walked back into Rose when Elijah arrived. She watched him kill one as Cody looked at him and back at Melissa. "We have the doppelgänger and the mate."

Rose grabbed Melissa and ran off. Elena looked back at Elijah as he killed the other two vampires before leaving.

Melissa arrived at the tomb and walked in. She stood at the tomb and sighed. "Stefan?"

Stefan appeared making Melissa smile. "Hey."

Katherine walked up and sighed as she saw Melissa. "You look like you had a rough day."

"First Stefan, I will try to help get you out, but the only person who can get you out is someone that wants us." She tells them and looked at Katherine. "Don't do nothing that will make him feel uncomfortable." She walked away making Stefan walk away from Katherine as he wanted to be left alone.

Katherine looked where the blonde was standing and sighed. She was never going to get out of there, but Melissa was right. Only Elijah can get Stefan out.
