Melissa saw the welcome to Mystic Falls sign, but she didn't care. Her friends lied to her and this time, she was going to show them what betrayal does to some. Especially a dark witch.

Sylvester looked at her as she was looking out the window. "Are you sure about this?"

"Yeah." She tells him. "They're going to learn to never mess with me. I'm not dealing with their shit anymore."

Sylvester knew right there that she fully trusts him than before. Her friends screwed up big time. "I also think I know what went wrong in Klaus ritual."

"What?"

"What he said that he has to kill a vampire, a werewolf, and a doppelgänger." Sylvester nodded. "I think the doppelgänger has to be alive. Her blood is the answer to the hybrids."

Klaus looked at the dark witch and knew. Melissa maybe right about this. Elena's blood is the key.

Arriving at the school, Melissa walked in with Sylvester. She looked at him as she wondered something. "Sylvester, do you only see me as a mate?"

"No. Melissa, I'm in love." He confesses. "I love you, Melissa. Through the summer, you taught me a lot even my brother. Together, I promise to help you with your magic. You've learned a lot, but we still need to practice."

"I love you."

"Melissa?"

The blonde looked to see Elena being dragged in by Klaus. "Hello, Elena.

Elena went to hug Melissa, but was held back. "I wouldn't try it."

"Why?"

"Why? You ask why?" Melissa laughed darkly causing Elena to stare in fear. "You all lied to me. Stefan never told me you were alive or the plan. I hate everyone of you."

"Melissa..."

"Love, your hand." Sylvester pointed out.

Melissa saw black mist and looked at her mate. "Well, I wonder what this does." Elena watched the dark mist around her feet just to fall. Melissa looked and smirked. "I think I'm going to enjoy this."

Klaus looked at his brother who stared at the dark witch with lust. "That can be saved for later." Klaus tells them. "Control your mate."

Sylvester rolled his eyes till Melissa used her magic on Klaus causing him to grown in pain. "Control your mouth."

"Sorry."

Melissa let up. "Lucky you're Sylvester's brother or I would have killed you."

"I'm your friend though."

Elena looked at Melissa shocked. She's friends with the enemy and sleeping with one. The blonde looked at Sylvester as she was tired. "I'm going home and taking a shower." She tells Klaus. "Remember what I told you."

Klaus nodded as his brother and friend left. Elena didn't know what to say. Her friend wasn't her friend anymore. All because they kept her in the dark. I need to find a way for her to see that we aren't the enemy.
