Melissa sat in her room trying to understand more about the moonstone. Something wasn't right. Sighing she put the book down and walked around the room looking at each note that was scattered. "If the doppelgänger is used to break a curse. Than the curse is place on someone." She mumbled.
"Melissa! I need your help." She heard Damon.
"With what?" She asked.
"We have a situation and Elena was going to go on a suicide watch..."
"Not happening." She replies as she grabbed her notes. "I need to search Elijah down because I think I learnt the real reason behind this curse and who better to ask than him."
"No." Damon said. "No, no, no. You are not putting yourself in danger just to get answers."
"Too bad, Damon." Melissa tells him. "I'm not Elena and two your not my boss."
Damon watched the blonde leave and shook his head knowing that she could take care of herself, but something tells him that Melissa wanted more answers about herself. ~~~ Melissa walked into Elena's not to happy about Damon. "I'm guessing Damon upset you."
"I get that he is trying to protect me, but his going to have to understand that I don't need to be told what to do." Melissa said. "I think I figured out why your need, but I need to ask Elijah to make sure I'm correct."
"What is it that you found?"
"I think the sun and the moon curse is a fake and Klaus is the one who has the curse on him, but the problem is, what kind of curse is it."
"Wow." Elena said shocked. "I'm never thought of it like that."
Melissa just gave her look as she sat down and started to look through her notes once again. ~~~ Later that day, Melissa saw Jenna going upstairs to get boxes. She stood up and stopped when she saw Elijah. "The person i need to talk to." She says as Elena froze.
"Melissa. Elena. Meet Elijah Smith..."
Melissa walked upstairs knowing he wants to talk to them. Hopefully some answers soon. She thought, but stopped in front of Elena's room. "Shit." She mumbled as she turned around to see Elijah and Elena. "Oh. So we're going to talk now?"
"I believe these are what your looking for."
Melissa nodded as she walked into Elena's room. She started listening to him saying this was to protect Elena. The blonde knew that she would have to wait on her questions about what she has found out later. "Get Stefan out of the tomb. I'm going home." ~~~ Once Melissa got home, she saw a note on her door. She looked around before grabbing it so she can get inside. She tossed her jacket on the couch as she sat down and read the not.

"Great. More stories to hear." She mumbled as she went up to her room to sleep.
A text appeared on her phone about Rose getting bit and that Stefan was out.
