"So your saying that there is a way to kill an Original?" Melissa asked.
"Yes, but there is more to it. I just have to read Johnathan's journal some more." Elena tells Melissa.
"I would because it sounds like there should be..." Melissa thought about it. "Elena, I don't think a vampire should us that dagger. It might kill both him/her and the original."
"Melissa, your right." Elena said as she looked at the journal. "How..."
"I guessed?" She questioned herself. "Who knows about the dagger?"
"Damon."
"Shit." Melissa said as she dropped her phone running out of her house. ~~~ Melissa ran to the Salvatore house. She ran in to see Damon. "Where's Elijah?" She asked.
"In the cellar.' He replies. "Stefan called and told me you figured it out. How?"
"I-I don't know." She saw the dagger and knew something was right. Melissa picked it up and smiled as she looked at it. "Are we sure this kills them or just temporarily?"
With that said. Damon ran to check to see if Elijah is still there. Melissa walked away knowing that Elijah was alive. The dagger was supposed to stay in to keep the original dead. "Melissa, we need to get to Elena and Stefan."
"Nope." Melissa tells him. "I'm going to stay here and watch everything fall apart."
Damon was confused as he left. Melissa hopes that Damon will see what he is doing. Elena is playing with both hearts and she hates to see that. She found herself a book when Katherine walked in. "Melissa."
"Your out?"
"When an original is killed, the compulsions dies out." She tells the blonde. "I'm going to help Elena and the brothers."
Melissa looked at her and sighed. "I feel like their going to do something that will piss Klaus off." She tells Katherine as the doppelgänger looked at her.
"What do you mean?"
"I believe they are going to use me."
Katherine watched Melissa walk upstair and wondered if that is what was going to happen. ~~~ "Brother, it's almost time for you to meet your mate." Klaus tells him.
"She's worried." Sylvester said. "The last time I saw her she seemed to be focusing on something else. I believe we need to uncover who her friends truly are."
"How will you do that?' Klaus asked.
Sylvester looked at Klaus. "Trust me. She will see through their lies."
