Homecoming was around the corner and Melissa was hoping to see Sylvester tonight. He said he would be home as he hated the distance and the pain. Melissa also had this feeling that Elena was up to something. Something that would piss her off some more. She sighed as she had to pick out a homecoming dress. "Melissa." She turned to look at Rebekah. "Elena is wanting to talk."
"She's discovered something that I have a feeling is a trick." She tells her. "You can talk to her, but I know she's up to something. Something that will make you betray Klaus."
Rebekah watched the dark witch walk away she wasn't happy about all this. The distance was causing Melissa pain and she can tell that the dark witch misses her mate.

Later that day, Melissa smiled as she tried on dresses hoping to find one that she will enjoy it. Her phone started ringing causing her to answer it. "Hello?"
"Love, you were right. Elena once again got what she wanted. She's got Rebekah to turn her back on us."
Melissa saw Elena. "Oh great." She says as Elena walked over. "Sylvester, I will call you back."
"You still talk to him?"
"Elena, I have a life and I don't care who it is. You have no say so."
Elena nodded. "Sylvester made your mom leave..."
"No, he didn't." She says. "Mom wasn't compelled. She left on her own and I don't care. I knew that day was coming so stop trying to get me to turn my back on someone who hasn't betrayed me."
Elena watched Melissa walk away. Her plan didn't work meaning that Melissa will never fall for anything she has to say about Sylvester. "I guess she'll learn the hard way."
