Melissa felt bad for Elena. Her mother was compelled to kill her self in front of her and the Salvatore's signed the house over to Elena. Now the blonde could relax. She's been calling Katherine, but no answer. Sighing, the blonde started to get dressed for school not knowing nothing else.

As she walked out of the house, she didn't think that she would be meeting someone. Getting in her car, Melissa was off. She just wanted to get the day done and over with.

The blonde walked into the school as Stefan and Elena were with Bonnie. The three saw Melissa, but noticed the mark was showing. "I thought we agreed for her to keep that hidden." Bonnie says.

"Melissa probably wasn't thinking about it." Elena said. "She hasn't said much to any of us. According to Damon, she feels like we would give her up to save me."

Bonnie stared in shock. Melissa on the other hand didn't say much. She stopped as she saw the 60s decade dance poster and smiled. "Melissa?"

The blonde turned and looked at them. "Yes?" She replies.

"You haven't called us none since the other day." Elena said.

"I wonder why." She replies as she walked to class.

Inside, Klaus stood in Alaric's body as he watched the students walk in, but one stood out. The blonde with the S on her wrist. Melissa Hatfield. "Good morning Mr. Saltzman." She replies.

"Good morning, Melissa."

Melissa stopped and looked at him. Something wasn't right about Alaric. She took her seat as class begin. She stayed quiet as she listened. That's not Alaric. She thought.

Lunch came and Melissa was walking to her table when Dana walked over to her. "You are just the girl I was looking for." She said as she dragged Melissa away making Elena and Bonnie confused.

"Dana, is there a reason why you needed to see me?"

"Not me." She said as she took Melissa's lunch. "Him." Dana tells her as she pointed at the doors.

Melissa was confused, but walked out to see a blonde leaning against the lockers. "Was your the one who wanted to see me?" She asked getting his attention.

"Hello, love." He replies. "It's time for us to have a talk."

"Ummm..." before Melissa could say a word. Bonnie and Elena came out.

"Melissa?"

The blonde looked at them and back to where the blonde was. "Who was that?" She mumbled.

That night, Melissa didn't know about the plan. She smiled as she walked through the school to the gym to see both Salvatore brothers and Bonnie. "What's going on?" She asked confused.

Her friends turned and smiled at her. "Nothing." Elena replies.

Melissa rolled her eyes and walked away. She knew they lied, but she wasn't going to say nothing. She stopped when a hand grabbed her. Looking to her right, there he stood. "You?"

"We didn't get to finish our conversation."

"Who are you?" She asked as the song request was announced to Elena from Klaus.

"I think you know." He tells her as he started dancing with her.

Melissa started to think of where she has heard his voice from. The two danced in silence. Elena saw the guy that was with Melissa earlier capturing Stefan and Damon's attention. The blonde looked at him shocked. "Sylvester?"

"Hello, love."

Melissa saw everyone leaving. "What's going on?" She asked.

"Seems like your friends didn't fill you in." He tells her.

Melissa was confused as he dragged her near Alaric. "Your not Alaric."

"I see Katerina was right." Klaus said. "She is too smart for a human."

Bonnie walked in surprising Melissa. "Bonnie?"

"Melissa, you need to leave." She tells her.

Bonnie started chanting making Melissa fall before she had the chance to leave and looked at Sylvester. She looked up as her eyes glowed red. Bonnie gasped as she saw Melissa stand back up not understanding why she fell in the first place.

Sylvester grabbed his mate and left.

Melissa was confused by what she had done. "What did I do?" She asked him.

"You, my love, aren't human." He tells her. "Your a dark witch."

"I'm a what?" She asked. "How?"

"Melissa, your powers have woken because we met." He tells her.

Melissa started to run just for Sylvester to appear in front of her. "Please let me go home."

"I'm just protecting you."

"From what or who?" She asked.

"Your friends."
