Brandon POV.

Mandisa has been acting wierd lately and i wonder if she knows about this other girl ...
I've been contemplating when I am going to leave Mandisa because this girl is unpredictable ,she could
stab me without a second thought .....i do not overexaggerate because I know this women and shes nothing but nice.

I go back to the day where i met Mandisa ,she was a sweet little lady to my eyes....but as months passed on , I saw the monster in her eyes. This girl is the pure meaning of evil. I remember when I was talking to my cousin and she slapped me ,thinking I was lying ...I scolded her for putting her hands on me ,but she took out a knife and aimed it for my Adams apple. I saw my life flash before my eyes and there was nothing I could do, I loved her loved but now i dont think the spark that was there could survive Mandisa.

"Brandon baby i reserved a restaurant for us tonight ,how about we clean up and when we come back I can spoil you." I'm not even in the mood for her business.

"Mandi babe I'm not in the mood of going out tonight , I just came back from a long day of work ...and i wanna really relax with my girl at home today and we can watch a movie ,how about that?"

"Brando uthini kum?" (What are you saying to me.)

"Im saying that i cant go out today I'm very tired at the moment baby please let's watch a movie."

"Brandon let's not fight tonight because I don't have the patience for you tonight, tonight it's my and your night it's time we go out or what you embarrassed to be seen with me or something tell me if you don't want to go simply nje."

"Baby I dont wanna go." I have to remind her everytime that I work hard enough to give her this life she's grown accustomed to ,i loved her when she was secure about herself now constantly she's on edge about every female I talk to. Even though vele im cheating on her , but I can't leave her not yet.

She climbs onto my lap and pulls my collar. Her breath fans my face it smells like mint and lemon juice. "Don't flipping agitate me Sani ,you are going with me whether you like it or not and I can't cancel I reserved the whole restaurant."

"Mandisa Where'd you get the money to reserve a whole restaurant!" Ugh

"Uthetisa ubani!!!!" She grabs me by collar and pinches my ears. (Who are you shouting at!)

"Yini you grew testicles so what ,does it give you flipping rights to speak to me like your side chick,don't start me Brando don't start me!"

She slaps me across the face, I look back at her in disbelief and she smiles at me. She knows what she's capable of doing I've tried talking to her father about her hitting me but the man's practically been hating on my ass for the longest of time. I'm about to open my mouth to shout at her but she kisses me.

"Hope I've made myself clear baby , im not arguing with you and im not prepared to repeat what i did earlier on , unless I should faka more pressure on the next one ."

To say that my own ego would never agree to my subconsciouses statement that I'm being abused  and my response to that always is your speaking to nonsense. I know abuse against men is there but it rarely happens and i well Mandi .....is just acting out suspecting my cheating she wouldn't be doing this if she didn't know so I don't think I'm being abused. Simple!

"I'll be ready in fifteen minutes Nkosi yam." (My king.)

She gets off my lap and skips to the bathroom ,but she comes out again and goes into the kitchen ...I look closely at her waist as she takes something out her pocket..it looks like a pocket knife she turns around and smiles. "Forgot to take this out, had no use for it anyway because you listened well to me." Did I imagine that whole sentence. I pulled out my phone and laughed at a message that Qu sent ,she knew how to make me happy, even though I've known her for a short period of time I've enjoyed the time I've spent with her. I don't realise that the water stopped and that Mandi has been staring at me for long , when I look up she is snarling and she clenches her jaw "Why aren't you ready yet?" She says through clenched teeth. "Sorry baby , let me go shower fast." 

I stood up and took my phone with me "Uh-uhn Leave that phone here." My breath stopped , if I left my phone I know she'll try and hack it with all her might. "Leave it it's going to distract you lala." I turned around and left the phone on the counter and went to go shower , when I went into our bedroom she had my clothes set on the bed. While I showered she called out my name "Oreng Mandisa?" (What did you say.) "Ndithe o- cousin wakho was on the phone." My breath hitched, while I lathered the soap over my body she opened the door "she said you must call her back." She looked me dead in the eyes and I swear I saw death written in them. "Manje xetha apha before i want to devour you." She looked me up and down my entire body and all i did was stare back. "Brando ucinga ukuthi ngiyadlala." (You think I'm playing. )

She took of the gown she wore and she entered into the shower "I don't like being challenged Brandon." She grabbed my face down and kissed me.

We ended up leaving the house an hour later cause of the stunt she pulled while I was showering and ever since she's been gushing. "Baby you should see this restaurant in the inside it's beautiful fit for royalty like me and you." She said but as we entered the room was dark and I didn't understand what was happening.

Until "SUPRISE!" and the lights were on ,all my family members were there until my eyes landed on a particular person... My lover Qu. "I called her." I looked down at Mandisa as she said that.shit I was screwed for one, Kgothatso walked up to me and gave me a brotherly hug "Man if I knew this day was coming I would've brought you an expensive gift bro ,super duper if you catching my drift." He says winking his eyes. "What do you mean?" Before Kgothatso could respond Mandisa gives me a box into my hands and she whispers into my ears "Your going to put this ring on my finger. And your going on one knee."  I looked up at Mandisa in shock "Mamela so God help me if you don't get on your knees Brando!" She whisper shouted.

I looked back at Qu and I saw her watching us with contempt "I don't need your damn cousin's consent to marry me , I'm your girlfriend!" she continued saying , I felt like snapping the ring in half and going to comfort her, but I was too coward to walk away from Mandi. I got on one knee and everyone has their attention on us and Mandisa had the look in her eye that she won "Mandisa Mtwha, will you do me the honour of being my wife,and best friend when I need you?" Mandisa frantically wiped away fake tears and shook her head vivaciousely "Yes!" my heart caved in, once upon a time this was my dream to marry Mandisa but now it's all a nightmare .

Abuse is two sided , so the female abuse is more brutal than men but i mean we can't ignore that we are all humans and that abuse should be stopped either way. If you know anyone that is being abused please please take a stand👏🏾🖤 #sayno
