2 months later;

I'ts been a while since Mandi's disappearance and still no news from the forensic teams, I've been visiting Laur and making sure she was okay, I made sure to be by her side constantly and make sure she didn't do anything stupid.

Even after her comments and very rude things she said to me i stayed cause that's how much I felt her ,she might've thought all my efforts to woo her were games but I really did feel her.

Today I wouldn't be with her though , the event I've been planning for has arrived and I hoped at the end of the evening it would be great, I got out my Audi A6 Avant i saw my brother walking toward me and I rolled my eyes. I mean ever since the whole engagement thingy I never really checked up on him but he was always there , commenting on my social media wishing me luck ...now his here.

"Big head!" he laughed , and said giving me a hug "It's been a while, you excited for tonight?" he asked while giving me a hug. I rolled my eyes with no response and walked into the direction of the scene.

When i walked in everything was set and I sent a message to the person who helped organise it and I thanked them. My job as the MC was respected by the hip hop community , they saw me as someone with integrity and new age rap skills.

"You can't ignore me for forever , you know what happened was meant to happen, I couldn't carry on living a lie bro." I turned around and walked towards him "Well now your properly free , she's dead now you can live with your floozy."

"Kgothatso bruh you can't be serious ...two months down the line and you still don't believe me , your blood."

I sighed and ran my hand down my face "Even Mma le Papa they want nothing to do with me , I mean why don't yall ever take the time to sit down and talk to me...huh find out my own side of the story?"

"Check , I love you bro , but I mean it's hard to believe what you presented." he held his face as if in a thinking motion. "Imma show you what I showed Laur, hopefully you'll believe me too."

"What do you mea -" he pulled me towards my dressing room and closed the door and locking it. He pulled his shirt up. "When was the last time you saw me shirtless?"

I thought about it "Erm a week before my birthday where we went to the pool. Why?"

"That was the last time because when I came home late that night , Mandisa did this to me..." he pointed towards a scar that was shaped in an M, I let out a disgusted shriek because it was blugh!

"How can I believe you?" he put his shirt down "That's the thing I don't expect you to believe me , I know that you believe me ,your decision is just clouded."

He opened the door and was about to leave but I called him back ,"You gonna watch me perform?" he let out a weak smile and raised his thumbs "You know it."

I meant what I said by I idolized my brother , he was the OG of MC's his the reason I started my own grind , as soon as he was in uni he stopped doing his stuff but he still remained the best in my eyes , I will always respect him even if everything with Mandisa happened.

I waited till everyone was in , then I heard Kabelo speaking through the mic from where I sat I could hear that he was hyping the audience up , I would be opening the performances for Ricky so I tired to calm my nerves when a knock on the door was sound.

"Tsena!" I yelled to the person on the other side of the door "Laur' you made it." I said all smiles when she walked through the door.

"Yeah well I needed time out of the house and you've been really supportive so I was like 'hey let's go support Kay gee.' and ...here I am ,"

She mumbled under her breath with a shy smile on her face , she walked towards me and hugged me and I was engulfed by her scent and beauty...how was it this girl made me feel for her even though she wasn't even trying. That was beyond me.

She broke away from the hug with a smirk and I was about to say something when I heard Kabelo screaming ,and I chuckled.

From the fair distance I heard it...all the hype ,the energy that all those people brought out today ...my dreams were finally coming to light slowly but surely. "Let's get you there." Lorraine said taking me out of my thoughts as she held my hand.

I gripped her hand and I opened the door for her to walk out first ,seeming like we got there in time Kabelo stage name in this case Vinny announced my name.

"Y'all been waiting for him all day , I'm here to call Hash!" The crowd erupted in loud fits of cheering and I felt my nerves escalate.

Laur came into view and planted a kiss on my cheek "You've got this don't stress," I smiled and I heard the crowd chant.

"Hash,hash ,hash...." they played the intro to my song and I walked onto the stage.

"Wassup fam!" I said into the mic and all the people yelled back a greeting to me "Le'ss go!"

I woke up with my head pounding , the event went according to plan ,after it was done the after party was in full blow and let me say that i didnt even know I had that much energy.

I looked to my side and Laur was sleeping peacefully in my arms and I smirked. She partied with me and the squad and we ended up calling an Uber to go to her place ,we stayed up talking until one of us faded into sleep.

I removed my arm slowly from under her and and my feet touched the ground.
