- '' Come on guys, get up and look for some food'', Doc commanded as Murphy tried to nap in our car that just broke down.

- '' Food?'', he asked as he lifted his hat up.

- '' Yeah, you know, the thing we eat'', Doc said.

- '' Come on, let's go'', I was dragging Murphy up from the car as he was groaning. We wandered towards the forest to see if we could find any berries or something. Or I was looking, Murphy was just dragging along, kicking the rocks and stuff.

- '' Why do I have to do this?'', he complained.

- '' For the survival''.

- '' What's that?'', I heard him say.

- '' What's what?'', I asked and turned around but he was already gone. I noticed that he was going in the opposite direction, clearly mesmerized by something. I tried to see what was going on before I noticed that there were brains hanging out from a tree.

- '' Murphy, don't!'', I yelled and ran towards him. I managed to grab his sleeve before we both fell into the trap that was set (probably for zombies). I felt sore from the last drop in the hanging stage and this one felt twice as worse. I couldn't see anything because it was so dark, but I heard someone - or something - growl at me. When my eyes got used to the darkness, I noticed there was a zombie in front of me. This one wasn't the usual type; it was very pale. I started to crawl away in fear and used Murphy as my human shield.

- '' Please don't snack on her'', Murphy said as he gave the z the brains he got off from the tree. The z seemed pleased with the brains and munched on them before dragging itself back to the shadows.

- '' Okay, what will we do now?'', I asked as I tried to bring my courage back.

- '' I guess we wait till someone finds us'', Murphy shrugged and didn't seem to think too deeply about it. His idea wasn't that great and I wasn't buying it either.

- '' Come on, there has to be something we can do. Who would put a trap on zombies like this? And most of all, why did we fall into it?'', I kinda scolded Murphy for not being careful enough.

- '' Hey, you told me to look for food'', he said, not caring at all.  The next second I saw a light enter the pit we were in. I turned around to see a figure before a paralyzer hit me and everything went dark.

My head was heavy and in pain when I finally started to open my eyes. I almost felt like I was about to vomit and my muscles were sore. I tried to move my limbs just to notice that I was tied up.

- '' It must be my lucky day. Two zombies and a female that somehow managed to survive in the pit with BOTH of them'', I heard a male voice say which seemed to come from a distance but when I finally realized what was happening, he wasn't that far. I looked around to see that Murphy was tied up too and the zombie in the pit was on an operating table with its head cut open.

- '' Sorry, I couldn't wait. I had to open up at least one of them'', the male said again. I looked at him; he had quite long hair, glasses, and a beard.

- '' What's this?'', I asked and my throat hurt.

- '' My bad, I didn't introduce myself. You may call me the Collector'', he introduced himself before taking a stool and sitting in front of us with his arms crossed.

- '' Now you tell me how you survived there with these two z's'', he said with a crazy glow in his eyes.

- '' Two z's?'', Murphy mumbled as he woke up too.

- '' A TALKING zombie?'', the man's jaw dropped as he started to write up something quickly.

- '' I'm not a zombie'', Murphy continued but he was still very dizzy.
