Love bites

- '' Y/N? Come here, come here, and shut the door'', Dr. Merch called me as I was on my trip toward the kitchen. She seemed rather serious so I followed her to her room and closed the door behind me. 

- '' You have to help me. I have been creating a vaccine against Murphy's bite. You are the only one who can help me. You are the only one who is not under his control'', she spoke to me and I saw the fear in her eyes as she held my hands in hers. 

- '' Don't tell him anything, please. I can't let this happen. This is not what you want either, right?'' Merch kept going. I just nodded in confusion.

- '' You have to help me escape from here''. 

- '' But what about the vaccine? You are the only one who can make it'', I said.

- '' Can't you make it? You have his blood and all'', I added.

- '' He won't let me do that'', she said, making me even more shocked. I thought it was just about time. But this changed everything. 

- '' I'll do what I can to help you''. 

After I left Merch's room I headed downstairs, about to go outside. A guard stopped me right after I got down the stairs. 

- '' Miss, you shouldn't be here. It's not safe'', he said.

- '' I wasn't born yesterday'', I said and pushed him off and started to run outside. I was lucky enough to get outside the door to see the process that Murphy was planning on. People made a line outside the fortress and there were Murphy's blends giving them the vaccine. After they got it they were allowed inside. Murphy was observing the process and just enjoying the position of being a god-like creature. The sight was so shocking that I stopped and the guard caught me. I started to kick and scream like crazy which woke up everyone's attention. 

- '' It's okay, let her go'', Murphy said to the guard and once he let go of me I spat on him. 

- '' I'm sorry Mr. Murphy, I tried to keep her inside-'', the guy started to explain but Murphy stopped him. 

- '' No need to'', he said but I knew he wasn't happy with the situation. I started to walk up to him with determined steps. 

- '' Hello sunshine. Come here'', he said before wrapping an arm around me. I didn't have a chance to say anything before he asked for everyone's attention. 

- '' Everyone! This is Y/N. She is the reason why I, why we, are here today. Behind every great man stands a great woman, am I right?'', he said and made the crowd laugh, someone even bowed at us like we'd be some kind of royalty and it made me sick. 

- '' Let's go inside'', Murphy said and led me inside, all the way inside our bedroom and then he closed the door. 

- '' What was the reason for you to make such an act out there?'', Murphy asked with an annoyed tone. 

- '' You can't keep me inside like a house pet like this. I will go totally crazy'', I defended myself. 

- '' My little sunflower. I've told you million times, it's not safe out there for you'', he said and tried to cup my face but I fought back. 

- '' Then why won't you go outside with me?'', I asked, feeling determined. 

- '' I am very busy with my work''.

- '' I don't support this at all. I thought it was just the two of us as you said''. 

- '' Of course, we will be together. I just have to make sure we will be safe first'', he tried to confront me but I wasn't having it. I took steps back before I stormed out of the room completely.
