Serafina didn't know how it felt, obviously she didn't, she hadn't died yet.

But she couldn't help but wonder.

Would it be dark?

Cold?

Would there actually be hell and heaven?

Would she find peace?

Or would she go to a completely different planet?

She didn't know nor like these questions at all.

"I called you here for a reason" Vittorio's voice broke her thoughts.

"Oh thanks for clearing that up, I genuinely thought you called for me just to see me sit, and take in my awesomeness"

"Sera" His voice went soft surprising the girl in front of him.

"Tori?" She shot back in a mocking tone and he looked at her apologetically before standing up.

Was he fine?

Did he know?

He can't know! right?

RIGHT?

"I am sorry" He cupped her cheek with his hand as her sapphire blue eyes with hints of jade green like prickles widened meeting his dark stormy blue ones at the words.

Her eyes, he couldn't help but think he had loved those eyes once, but it couldn't be their mothers, hers were the same forest green her and Victorio had. Their father had the same stormy blue eyes he does, that Katherine does.

"What?" She asked after a minute of silence.

"I'm sorry" He said rubbing his thumb on her cheek, as though comforting her.

"Vittorio...are you fine?" She couldn't help it.

This didn't seem like him at all.

This didn't seem like her...brother at all yet she liked it.

Even if only 1 percent of her did, she liked that bit of affection, something she had craved, and probably will always, considering she was going to not exist anymore.

"You aren't" He tone went even softer.

He knows.

How does he know?

He can't know!

"What do you mean?" She swallowed the lump in her throat.

"Littlest sister" He spoke grasping her arm and pulling her up before hugging her and she stood frozen, she didn't know what to do or say.

He slowly rubbed her back stroking her hair as though comforting her but didn't let go.

Slowly she wrapped an arm around him.

This felt....weirdly good to the young girl, she liked it.

She liked it but hated it more, hated how someone who she has hated all her life and has probably been hated too brought her this sense of safety.

And she hadn't felt safe since she was 2.

"Vittorio?" Her voice sounded familiar to his ears...he didn't know why, it always had in a weird way.

He shook it off.

"Yes?" He pressed a kiss to her head before pulling away.

"What's going on?"

"They are trying to kill you"

"Who are?" She asked.

"The same people who killed dad" His voice was filled with pain.
