"Gather up, students! No chaos. No- uh- JIMMY!! ARGH-"
Miss Bailey ran towards Jimmy, on the other side of the big field of our school. He was constantly trying to pick a cat upon his lap, while the cat was trying to run away from him. Miss Bailey ran straight to him. She grabbed him by the ear and started pulling him. Getting the chance, the cat quickly ran away. We all started laughing."The bus is ready to go and you play with a cat."
She shook her head in disappointment as she started walking to the other side of the field again, where we were standing."Elementary students seem more mature to me than you guys."
We heard her saying when they got closer.Andrew, prince charming, stood up against her.
"Ma'am! You can't call us little children for Jimmy! He's the only one who's a kid! And we're mature enough to be called mature!"
He peaked at us.
"Right?"Everyone nodded, some loudly agreed.
"Okay, okay."
Ma'am replied.I looked at Andrew.
"He's cute, not gonna lie..."
I said in my head.
"Our girls have good taste."
I nodded with a serious face all by myself."Why're you staring at Andy?"
Julie unexpectedly called from my back."Ah, Julie!"
I grabbed her hand and pulled her in front of me.
"I was lost in my thoughts, not staring at him!"She gave me a weird look and winked.
"Lost in thoughts-"
Pretending to think deeply, she continued.
"Thoughts of what, huh? You marryin-"I interrupted her quickly.
"You little jerk!!"
I gave her an angry look.
"Why would I think that?! Don't ever say it again!!"She kept laughing.
"No chaos. No chaos."
I saw Miss Bailey coming towards us, still pulling Jimmy by his ears."Ma'am, it hurts...plus your hands are cold..."
I heard Jimmy slowly trying to say as they passed me."You deserve this and shut the hole in your mouth."
Miss said back."Fine...ouch!"
Julie and I giggled.
"Poor Jimmy!"I looked around, trying to find Ryan.
"Why hasn't he come yet? He didn't even come to school yesterday..."
I wondered. For a second, I thought I should go ask Miss Bailey. Then I decided to ask Julie first, whether she saw him or not.
"Hey-"
I tapped her elbow. She looked at me and asked.
"What happened? You wanna agree that you like Andr-""STOP!!"
I tried to whisper but I said it so loud that some students looked back at us.
I laughed awkwardly at them,
"Sorry..."They minded their own businesses and looked away.
"Jesus Christ..."
Julie said, looking startled at me.
"You didn't have to shout, girl!"I quickly replied.
"What the heck! You shouldn't have said it!!""Fine, fine!"
She pretended to surrender.
"Now, tell me what you wanted to say.""Yes."
I cleared my throat.
"I was wondering if-""If I know whether you like Andrew or not? Yes, honey, I do know!"
She winked again.
